Brother and Sister Bridgeman;

Curtis and Charmaine I was truly relieved when God the Father did not choose the two of you to be a part of our 10/17/06 sermonet “Jimmy Swaggart And His Unholy Worship Team!” I mean, after all, your music ministry at JSM really blessed us! In fact two of our favorite songs were Brother Curtis’ “Marching To Zion” and Sister Charmaine’s “Blessed Quietness”.

So, it goes without saying that you can both sing praises to God in an awesome way! However, only the Almighty knows your heart, and that’s the reason for this letter. Because it was a few months back that the Lord had us to send you an invitation to join us in helping Jimmy Swaggart get back on the straight and narrow pathway to Heaven. We first sent you a “Jimmy Swaggart Expositor’s Post Card” through your MySpace accounts, and then, after having received no response for several weeks, the Lord had us to send you the following Scripture on the 25th of September 2008:

“Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you (Curtis and Charmaine)! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.” (Luke 6:26 KJV)

Well, the very next day we got a reply from Brother Curtis:

Thank you for the reminder. According to this season we’ve been in, we are certainly not in danger of that!!! But God is faithful!

And then one day later we received the following from Sister Charmaine:

Dear brother:

I’m not exactly sure what the message below meant, but I pray it was meant to be a word of encouragement as we are on the front lines of the battle against Satan for souls.

If your comments are not bathed in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the love of Christ, I would like to ask you to refrain from sending any more to me.

That was what Sister Charmaine’s had to say about God’s Word, and then she abruptly cut us loose as her MySpace friend! No more Sister Charmaine!

So why did the Lord have us to speak such a strong Word to the both of you? Well the answer to that one is easy: “God knows your heart!” I mean, after all, if you were to stand with us in our battle to save Jimmy Swaggart and the powerful ministry that God has entrusted him with, there would be MUCH PERSECUTION to come against you…and THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT YOU FEAR!

But let’s get real, Brother Curtis and Sister Charmaine; “How Do You Want Your Fire…Now Or Later?”

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2 KJV)

I have spoken God’s Truth to you, Brother Curtis and Sister Charmaine, bathed in the Power of the Holy Spirit and in the Love of Christ. But the question is, Brother Curtis and Sister Charmaine, will you receive it and do what you have been called to do?

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:24-26 KJV)

The misery that attends the most plausible apostasy. Whosoever will save his life in this world, if it be by sin, he shall lose it in another; he that forsakes Christ, to preserve a temporal life and avoid a temporal death, will certainly come short of eternal life, and will be hurt of the second death, and eternally held by it. There cannot be a fairer pretence for apostasy and iniquity than saving the life by it, so cogent is the law of self-preservation; and yet even that is folly, for it will prove in the end self-destruction; the life saved is but for a moment, the death shunned is but as a sleep; but the life lost is everlasting, and the death run upon is the depth and complement of all misery, and an endless separation from all good. Now, let any rational man consider of it, take advice and speak his mind, whether there is any thing got, at long run, by apostasy, though a man save his estate, preferment, or life, by it. (Mathew Henry’s Commentary)

It’s time to quit “playing church”, Brother Curtis and Sister Charmaine. Jimmy Swaggart needs your help! To whom much is given, much is required.
