Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to send out a clarification to everyone about the last word I sent out. I have received much feedback of encouragement and confirmation and I thank you for that.

I do although realise my choice of 'words' with the title may not have been the best with the recent events of New Orleans.

I humbly apologise for any offence or hurt I may have caused by the title I used. It was not meant to bring about offense.

My heart truly does break for the USA, and I have been interceeding greatly for the nation and pray that God will continue to extend His arms of love to all people involved.

These times do indeed show us, the importance of being right with God. For who knows what the day holds? Tragedies are just escalating one after the other.

My heart in sending out the "Spiritual Hurricane" word, comes out of a heart of grief for those in the USA, for their physical pain and torment, but moreso their spiritual state.

This shows the church more and more we need to rise up!!!!!

So please accept my apology.

Hi Everyone,

I guess most of you just got the email today titled "Lanna is away" from my friend, saying that I wouldn't be online for about a week or so because my phone line was shut down. Well it was, since last week!!!!

The thing is, is that my friend was so busy, she only got to send the email to you all today. So sorry for worrying you all, didn't mean too!!!! Wouldn't just drop off the face of the earth like that!!!!! Did realise one thing, I love communicating with all of you SO much. I missed you all the past few days, my goodness!!!!!

Anyways, I'm back!!!!!!!! It's a miracle!!!!!!!!!!!! *laughs* We got the phone line fixed today instead of the end of the week. HALLELUJAH! Had some time to sort stuff out with God this weekend and really realised some 'deep' things, so God really used the time away. Praise God!!!!

So I'm back : ) Thanks for your prayers for my exam. The first two questions were awesome, think I did well with those, but last question I had no idea, so I was pretty upset about all that.

Also, as all of you know, I am believing God for a lap top, so I am able to do all my prophetic writing on it, and the writing of my book, and everything, and to preach from as I have many sermon opportunities coming up. Well after speaking to my dad today, he told me, that he would buy me a lap top the exact one that I want, if I can give him $500 by friday. ($250 US)

The reason he needs the $500 by Friday is the lap top computer that I want is only on 'sale' until next Monday.

So would you please believe with me for this money? I do believe the Lord said He would provide me with a lap top, so maybe this is His way? I just claim the finances to come in Jesus name, if it be His will.

You have let your shield down. You are walking in error and leading Christians astray.

The minute I read your "Who Am I in Christ" I smelled a rat. I mean you can recite that list until the cows come home and still bust Hell wide open. Salvation is conditional. The Word of God is full of "IFs". And if you are not walking in obedience to every Word that proceeds from the Mouth of the Father then you shouldn't be claiming that you are in Christ by confessing that list:

"And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God." (Deuteronomy 28:1-2 KJV)

After praying about your "Who Am I in Christ" the Lord took me to several Websites that exposed the spirit of error in those who produced and published your "Who Am I in Christ":

And at http://www.crmspokane.org/prophettest.htm you'll find an excellent expose on the two of them. In fact picking up the article at "Suspicious Prophetical Sources" we have the following:

Aside from the possibility of these prophesies coming out of things such as "presumption", "visions of their own minds", and so on; there arises some suspicions of actual spiritual sources. The question that must come to mind is, 'How can some of these prophecies have some sort of correctness to them, yet still be way off?

For instance, let's say the prophesy of terrorist attacks on the east coast did not come from a person's own speculation or their own vision, or some pre-known intelligence source, etc. Then "something" had to convey this message to these people, even though it was wrong in how it was going to come about.

God does not give out false information. However, "something" had some information. Understand that the demonic world was obviously aware of what was going to happen and as the word tells, can give out false information. With these things in mind, we cannot rule out lying spirits as a source of some of this information.

One thing that bothered me in looking over some of these prophesies that gives some credence to this possibility can be seen in the following statement by another prophet, Sandy Warner. It is about a prophesy she said she received after attending a Bobby Connor - Larry Randolph prophetic conference, concerning a "technique" she used while receiving it, and what happened while she was using this technique.

She was previously told by Pastor Dale Howell of The Cornerstone Church in Grants Pass, Oregon, that the Lord would pay a visit that night. Sandy said she awoke with a vision and gave the following account:

"I saw the cloud of the Lord rolling in on the same glory train tracks I had seen in previous visions. This cloud was moving like the speed of a train down these tracks. I perceived that the train was inside the cloud and being covered by the cloud...

As I lay in bed quietly worshipping the Lord, I realized His cloud was in the room. I literally breathed the vapor into my nose and lungs. I began to breath very deep as Bob Jones had suggested in an earlier meeting, and then after a while the humid vapor turned into strong incense. It was the same smell of incense that I smelled at Mahesh's Watch at a conference last year when the Lord had opened my sense of smell.

While I was smelling His incense, my right hand had a surge of His power go through it, then it began to tremble. I heard the Lord say, "Lay it upon your shoulder." I remembered that Bob Jones had said that the shoulder represents the government of the Lord. (Isa 9:6) It was quickened to me that the Lord was about to place His right hand of power upon the shoulders of those whom He has called into His divine government or rule. I felt that the right hand also represented His 5 fold ministry being endued with His power and going forth in His authority..."

The first concern here is the breathing technique. I don't know where Bob Jones got this technique from; things like this are not found in the word of God, nor mentioned by any of the prophets. However this deep breathing technique can be found in any occult book on the use of visualization, guided imagery and channeling [divination] as a foundational exercise to contact spirit guides. How many others in the prophetical realm has he taught this to?

Next, out of this exercise comes the odor of incense, which is supposed to signify God's presence according to their doctrine. However in the word of God, incense is something that goes up to God, not representing the presence of God.

For instance, in the Old Testament, incense was an offering of the priests to God burned on the altar. It also represents prayers going up to God from His people. And in one instance, in Revelation 8:3-4, it signified the start of God taking action for his saints and executing the judgment of the Seven Seals. It says:

"And the smoke of the incense which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake." Rev 8:4

Finally, out this breathing technique comes a message that was supposed to be from the Lord. The message was that certain people were going to be given rule of God's government. The verse cited as a qualifying reference was Isaiah 9:6. This is were a another problem exists in the validity of the source of the message. Isaiah 9:6 speaks of the government resting on Christ's shoulder, not on mans. It says;

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government there shall be no end..." Is 9:6, 7

So it appears that whatever gave this message to the prophet, contradicted the word of God and substituted man or some selected people of this revival realm, in the place of Christ. As we see these things uttered, it must make us wonder what their sources are. God is not going to give words that contradict his written word.

A Credibility Problem
There have been some prophesies in recent days that say that there will be attempts to discredit some un-named ministries in this revival realm. No doubt this article will be considered one of them, and it will be the prophetical ministries that will be later mentioned as the "victims".

However it can be plainly seen that all of the persons mentioned in this article, and the various ministries they represent, have discredited themselves by their own words in that their prophesies did not come about, were incorrect, or contradicted the written word of God.

We are told in 1 Thessalonians 5:19 and 20 that we are not to quench the Spirit and not despise prophesies. But we are also told to test the spirits to see if they are from God. In view of these things 1 Thessalonians 5:21 goes further and instructs us to;

"Prove [test, examine] all things; hold fast that which is good."

So we must do with all the prophesies in order to see if they are of God. We do not follow words of people because they are nice, sincere, have some power, went to a seminary, are well known, or we like what they say. We are to follow what God's word says, and hold fast to that. If it does not fit the word of God, then we are to reject it and not follow those who profess that which does not pass the test.

THANK YOU for praying for the $500 I needed to pay my dad today for the new lap top which was purchased for me by him, to begin writing my book and teaching materials on.

I had to pay my dad today, and did not have $500 to give him. Well...

THE LORD PROVIDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The FULL amount was paid to my dad today and my dad was very happy that it was all given to him on time. HALLELUJAH!!!!

OUR GOD, HE REIGNS!!!!!!

HE provided!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know, that this is just another step to God preparing me for the ministry He is going to send me out too. I could have done without a lap top, it wasn't a necessity, but it was a good convenience which I knew the Lord wanted me to have, and now it's here.

You are having to fight demons in ways that Father God never intended. They are coming against you because you have not shut the door that would have kept them out. When will you receive what "thus saith the Lord" through me? Do you understand the very serious nature of the following Scripture that the Lord has given me to give to you?

Called to Be Christ-Like

Recently, a dear Christian woman told me, "I'm learning my purpose in life through a class I'm taking." She was finishing an eight-week course meant to help people discover their calling. She said everyone in the class was anxious to find their purpose.

I heard a pastor on the radio advertising something similar. He offered to help listeners discover their spiritual gifts. If you would request his questionnaire, fill it out and send it in, his staff would evaluate your particular gifts. Then they would tell you how to find your place in the body of Christ.

A frustrated ministry couple wrote to me, "We've been looking for ways to fulfill God's calling in our lives. But we've run into all kinds of hindrances. We're so discouraged, at times we feel like giving up." Maybe this couple will turn to the resources these others are using. I'm sure such tools are helpful to some degree. The Bible says God gives gifts to his people, and I believe there are special callings.

Yet I'm convinced by Scripture there is only one core purpose for all believers. Our specific callings are gathered up in this single purpose, and every gift springs from it. And if we miss this purpose, all our desires and pursuits will be in vain.

Jesus sums up our core purpose in John 15:16: "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit." Our purpose is simply this: we are all called and chosen to bear fruit.

What is the fruit we are to bear? Many sincere Christians think bearing fruit means simply to bring souls to Christ. But to bear fruit means something much larger even than soul-winn ing.

The fruit Jesus is talking about is Christ-likeness. Simply put, bearing fruit means reflecting the likeness of Jesus. And the phrase "much fruit" means "the ever-increasing likeness of Christ."

Growing more and more into Jesus' likeness is our core purpose in life. It has to be central to all our activities, our lifestyle, our relationships. Indeed, all our gifts and callings — our work, ministry and witness — must flow out of this core purpose.

If I am not Christ-like at heart — if I'm not becoming noticeably more like him — I have totally missed God's purpose for my life. It doesn't matter what I accomplish for his kingdom. If I miss this one purpose, I have lived, preached and striven in vain.

You see, God's purpose for me can't be fulfilled by what I do for Christ. It can't be measured by anything I achieve, even if I heal the sick or cast out demons. No, God's purpose is fulfilled in me only by what I am becoming in him. Christ-likeness isn't about what I do for the Lord, but about how I'm being transformed into his likeness.

In the disciples' minds, the temple in Jerusalem was a great, godly work, a magnificent accomplishment. They took Jesus on a tour to show him the grandeur of the structures, the huge crowds who gathered daily, all the religious activities that took place there. They thought Christ would be just as impressed with it as they were.

Instead, Jesus threw a wet blanket on their enthusiasm. He told them, in essence, "This is all coming down. Not one stone here will remain. All these crowds are going to scatter, and even the shepherds will flee. Everything here that impresses you — everything that looks so religious — is going to be rejected. And it will happen because this is not Christ-revealing. It is man-centered, and it's man-revealing."

The fact is, the disciples had been focusing on the wrong temple. They had their eyes on this man-made temple. Their focus was on the religious activity. And they were being impressed by the wrong things. What happened there did not represent the Father. The temple had become a den of thieves and moneychangers. The prophets and priests were out for themselves. They even robbed and abused their own parents. The temple was not about Christ's purposes at all.

In short, Jesus refocused the disciples' attention on the spiritual temple. As Paul would later write to the church, "Don't you know your body is the temple of the Lord?"

I believe that many Christians today are like the disciples. We're impressed by huge church edifices, by multitudes who stream in on Sunday, by the uniqueness of the worship, by multiple programs and ministries. But Jesus' message to us is clear: we are not to focus on buildings of stone and metal, on forms of worship or on how church is conducted. Those things will only distract us. Instead, our focus should be on our spiritual temple.

The fact is, the Holy Spirit is in his temple at all times. He abides in our bodies. And he is prepared at any moment to bring us into his purpose. That means we have to have our spiritual house in order.

There are times we are called to speak righteous judgment. Scripture calls every Christian to expose false doctrines and false prophets. Ministers especially are to denounce in God's house that which is unlike Christ.

But Peter says judgment begins in the house of God. And "house" doesn't mean just the church, but our human temple as well. I am to judge myself — to look at the condition of my own temple — before I'm able to judge anything I see in the church.

Jesus says, "Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away… If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned" (John 15:2, 6). Whatever in the church isn't a reflection of Christ — whatever is corrupt or false, or doesn't bring his people into his likeness — will be dealt with. J esus will cast it out. And he'll cause that ministry and its wicked perpetrators to wither. He'll eventually expose it, bankrupt it and shut it down.

I'm convinced that if any Christian living today could have walked through the temple in Jesus' time, he would have been grieved by what he saw. Priests pocketing money on the side, greed and corruption, money madness — all of it would be shocking. That Christian would wonder, "How long will the Lord endure such foolishness in his house?"

Yet, the truth is, the condition of the temple would have been nothing for us to worry about. Jesus did cast out the wickedness there. He brought in a cord and whip and cleansed his Father's house. And he brought down all the corrupt ministries that were operating in it.

Today, we serve the same temple-cleansing Christ. And he's faithful to cast out all corruption in his church, in his time and his way. If he chose, he could bring down every false prophet overnight. Therefore, we're to trust him to take care of his church. Our part is to make sure that no worldliness creeps into our own human temple.

Paul says, "We are called according to his purpose." "We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28). Paul's message here is simple: "All things ought to be working out for good in the lives of those who love God and walk in his ways."

This truth causes me to wonder: why is there so much discouragement and distress among Christians? Why are so many pastors worn out, weary and leaving the ministry in droves around the world? Why is there such awful competition between ministries?

I see churches everywhere mired in materialism and deep in debt. And all the while, the people beg for answers in their lives. I ask you, how could this be the abundant life Paul says we're supposed to enjoy? It doesn't look anything like a good life. Honestly, it looks like a life of misery. Just go into any Christian bookstore and read the titles on the shelves. Most are self-help books on how to overcome loneliness, how to survive depression, how to find fulfillment. Why is this?

It's because we've got it all wrong. We aren't called to be successes, to be free of all trouble, to be special, to "make it." No, we're missing the one calling, the one focus, that's meant to be central to our lives: to become fruitful in the likeness of Christ.

When I was twenty-nine years old, an older, well-known evangelist asked me to lunch. He advised me, "If you don't make it by the time you're fifty, you'll never make it. I have five more years, and after that, my chances for success are gone. So, I'm going to start a national TV program."

I thought to myself, "Make it? This doesn't sound like the language of Christ's calling." Soon after that, God put this man on the shelf. He was lost in oblivion, all his dreams shattered. Sadly, I hear tales like his in my travels these days. Several ministers have told me, "I'm going to build a mega-church."

A man who once attended our church told me, "I get so angry when I see everyone else making it big time, while I have so many financial needs. It's my turn now. I'm going to do whatever it takes." The last I heard of that man, the law was after him.

The truth is, many of us are called to be ordinary Christians. Yet we put such pressure on ourselves to keep up with the competitive spirit in the world today. We drive our children to be doctors, lawyers, prominent business people, even "successful" ministers. But we don't have to produce anything to find our purpose in life. We don't have to erect buildings, write books or draw crowds. Paul says we are predestined to be conformed to the likeness of Christ, and that is our one purpose: "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren" (Romans 8:29).

Jesus was totally given to the Father, and that was everything to him. He stated, "I don't do or say anything except what my Father tells me." Paul is telling us that every believer is to follow the same pattern and direction, to have the same core interest: "I am here for my Lord."

So, do you want to bear the "much fruit" that springs forth from becoming more like Christ? I asked myself that question as I prepared this message. And the Spirit whispered to me, "David, you have to be willing to look at how you deal with others."

Simply put, bearing fruit comes down to how we treat people. We fulfill our life's purpose only as we begin to love others as Christ has loved us. And we grow more Christ-like as our love for others increases. Jesus said, "As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love" (John 15:9). His command is clear and simple: "Go and love others. Give to others the unconditional love I have shown you."

The Spirit impressed on me three areas where Christ's unconditional love must begin:

1. This love has to begin in our homes. Jesus' command has to do with how I treat my spouse and children. For single people, it involves how you treat roommates, fellow Christians, the people closest to you.

This truth was at the core of Malachi's prophecy to Israel. God said to the priests of that day, "This ye have done again, covering the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand" (Malachi 2:13). God was saying, "I no longer accept your offering or your worship. I won't receive anything you bring."

Why didn't God accept these men's ministry any longer? "Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously… Take heed" (2:14–15). It all had to do with their marriages.

There's no getting around it. If I am to become the man and minister God has called me to be, then my wife must be able to say honestly be fore heaven, hell and all the world: "My husband loves me with the love of Christ. He makes mistakes, but he's growing more patient and understanding with me. He's becoming more tender and caring. And he prays with me. He isn't a phony. He is what he preaches."

Now, I help pastor what would be called a mega-church. I conduct ministers' conferences around the world, preaching to thousands at a time. I founded Teen Challenge, a Christian rehabilitation ministry for alcoholics and drug addicts, which now has 500 centers worldwide. I've written some twenty books, helped establish a Bible school, set up a home for abandoned mothers and their children. I've had honors heaped on me.

But if this isn't my wife's testimony — if she has a secret pain in her heart, thinking, "My husband isn't the man of God he pretends to be" — then everything in my life is in vain. All my works — the preaching, the accomplishments, the charitable giving, the many travels — amount to nothing. I am a withering, useless branch that doesn't bear the fruit of Christ-likeness. Jesus will cause others to see the death in me, and I'll be worth little to his kingdom.

You can evangelize all you want, witnessing and passing out tracts. You can go to church week after week and sing praises to God. But what does your spouse have to say about you? What kind of life do you lead in your home?

A middle-aged pastor and his wife came to me brokenhearted and weeping. The minister told me through tears, "Brother Dave, I have sinned against God and my wife. I've committed adultery." He shook with godly sorrow as he confessed his sin to me. Then his wife turned to me and said softly, "I've forgiven him. His repentance is real to me. I know he isn't that kind of man. I'm confident the Lord will restore us."

I was privileged to witness the beginnings of a beautiful healing. We can never make up for our past failures. But when there is true repentance, God promises to restore all that the cankerworm ha s destroyed.

Yet, the treachery that Malachi describes isn't just about adultery or fornication. It includes everything that can be called un-Christ-like, such as mean-spiritedness, bitterness and dishonesty. These kinds of treacheries also void our lifetime accomplishments. God says to all who commit them, "I will not accept your works, your worship or anything you bring to me. I have a controversy with you."

I deeply wish every couple who enjoys a Christ-centered marriage would rise up and tell the truth: "It isn't easy." Marriage is a day-by-day effort, in the same way the Christian life is. Like the way of the Cross, it means giving up your rights daily. Of course, Satan knows your heart is set on becoming more Christ-like in your home, so he's constantly going to bring about trials.

In short, there is no other school as difficult and intense as the school of marriage. And you never graduate. God is making it clear to us: Our life with our loved ones is the pinnacle, the very summit, of all our testings. If we get it wrong here, we'll have it wrong everywhere else in our life.

2. Christ-likeness also has to do with how I treat those outside my family. To be Christ-like is to acknowledge Jesus in others. In my travels, I meet many precious men and women whom I know are given wholly to the Lord. The moment I meet them, my heart leaps. Even though we've never met before, I have a witness from the Holy Spirit that they're full of Christ.

I can still see some of their faces: pastors, bishops, poor street evangelists. And the moment I met them, I realized without a word being spoken, "This man has been with Jesus. This woman is satisfied in Christ." In greeting them, I always say the one thing I would want others to say of me: "Brother, sister, I see Jesus in you." I don't mean it as flattery; it is the witness of the Holy Spirit.

We know that Christ-likeness means loving others as he loves us. Yet it also means loving our enemies — those who hate us, who despi tefully use us, who aren't capable of loving us. And we're to do this expecting nothing in return. Of course, loving this way is impossible, in human terms. There aren't any how-to books, any sets of principles, or any amount of human intelligence to show us how to love our enemies as Christ loves us. Yet we're commanded to do it. And we're to do it with ever-increasing purpose. According to Jesus, that's the fruit we are to bear.

So, how do we do it? How do I love the Muslim who spat in my face a block away from our church? How do I love the people who run Internet Web sites calling me a false prophet? How do I love homosexuals who parade down Fifth Avenue carrying signs declaring, "Jesus Was Gay"? How do I truly love them in Christ? I don't even know how to love other Christians in my own ability.

Very simply, it has to be the work of the Holy Spirit. As Jesus prayed to the Father, "That the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them" (John 17:26). Christ asks the Father to put his love in us. And he promises that the Holy Spirit will show us how to live out that love:

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you…. He shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you" (John 16:13–15).

Do you hear what Jesus is saying here? The Holy Ghost will faithfully gather up all the ways Christ loved others and "show it to you." Indeed, the Spirit delights in showing us more of Jesus. It's the reason he dwells in our bodily temples: to teach Christ to us. "Ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you…. He shall teach you all things" (John 14:17, 26).

3. Finally, an un-Christ-like division in the church has robbed it of power and influence in every nation. In apostolic times, the church was so filled with Christ's authority, it caused kings and rulers to tremble. Paul and his young pastors and evangelists preached fearlessly. They filled entire cities and nations with the message of Jesus. Here was a church known for its Christ-likeness, its power to affect heaven and earth.

Yet today, much of the church has been left a weak, feeble institution, with little of Christ's authority. It is being mocked and ridiculed the world over. As I travel from nation to nation, I can see why. I often find the church in a sad condition, marked by narrow denominationalism. Each group claims to be of Christ and to preach a biblical gospel. Yet in some cases, these groups can't even sit down at a table together.

Happily, in many nations, Christian leaders cross denominational lines to help bring about our conferences. But a great divide often still exists between cultures and races. Certain groups are looked down upon and aren't even invited to the meetings. Also, new religious movements are springing up everywhere, with true revival taking place. But some of these have become exclusive, claiming they alone have the truth.

Finally, there is another kind of division in the church that is absolutely un-Christ-like. It is the chasm between the large and the small: those who are doing big things in the Lord's name, versus those who are called to smaller works.

God has a rebuke for this kind of division: "Who hath despised the day of small things?" (Zechariah 4:10). This was his word to the Israelites who despised the temple foundation laid by Zerubbabel. They looked down on the new work because it wasn't as spectacular as Solomon's temple.

Likewise today, many pastors' conferences are emphasizing mega-church growth. Ministers from small churches are being told, in so many words, "Attend this mega-church pastor's seminar, and you'll find the keys to success. You'll eventually have a church as big as his." Yet this only causes pastors to become more discouraged. They end up convinced, "I'm not doing anything significant for God. He just isn't using me."

I honestly would love to attend a ministers' conference where all the speakers were pastors from small or average-size churches. I don't have any desire to hear about how to build a large church or raise a huge budget. I would rather hear twenty or thirty small-church pastors speak about what God is saying to them, about the revelation of Christ they're receiving.

Maybe you're thinking, "I'm one of those little people. The things I do in God's kingdom are so small. I'm not involved in anything important for the Lord." That is not the case. Let me tell you how I believe God sees this whole matter.

The most useful people in the church of Jesus Christ are those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. Yes, some people are doing great things that are seen and heard by many. But some of those ministers don't have eyes to see the needs of hurting people. They are project-oriented rather than need-oriented.

The simple fact is, the Christ who lives in me is not blind or deaf. And his Word says, "Whoso hath this world's goods, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?" (1 John 3:17). Jesus sees all the needs and hurts around me. He hears the groanings and cries of the distressed and bound. And if I am to be more like him, then I need his eyes to see the same things.

This is the love of Christ: to hear the distressing cry of the fatherless, the child of the ghetto…the lonely, muffled cry of the homosexual who's sick of his sin, drowning his torment in alcohol…the agonized cries of the hungry, the poor, the imprisoned. Being like Christ is having such "eyes to see and ears to hear."

Oh, Lord, give me a listening ear. Help me to quit telling people how much I know. Instead, help me to hear what you're saying to those who have no public voice. Help me to be a student at the feet of unknown pastors and servants in the body who are truly bearing much fruit. Let me hear what you're saying through them. And let me love others not in word only, but in deed and in truth.

This is one of the best stories coming from the disastrous hurricanes!

I just returned from New Jersey. While en route there, I was stuck in traffic on Interstate 81,just below the Virginia state line, (Bristol,Tennessee), due to a traffic accident with a fatality involved. This accident involved a tanker truck hauling a hazardous material load that developed a leak, which meant that we weren't going anywhere for several hours. After being told by the Tennessee state troopers that we would be sitting still until the clean up was completed, I set my brakes on the truck and got our to stretch my legs. Other truck drivers did the same,and at one point there were 5 of us standing there by my truck complaining.

Sitting right beside me in the left lane, were two elderly people in a Silverado pick up truck, which was loaded quite well. The man, (Joe),lowered his window and asked what was going on regarding the traffic situation. Soon we were all talking with this couple. I mentioned that if I had known about this, I would have bought something to drink, (water), for I was becoming thirsty. The lady, (Anna), said that they had plenty of water, and sodas in the cooler in the bed of the truck, and offered everyone present something.

While she was back there, she said that she had plenty of tuna salad made up, and asked if we would be interested in a sandwich. After some urging from Joe, we agreed to a sandwich. While Anna was making the sandwiches on the tailgate of the truck, she was singing like a songbird. To be close to 70, (I guess), she had a remarkable voice. When she finished making the sandwiches, and putting everything up, Joe raised the tailgate of the truck to close it. I noticed a Mississippi license plate on it. I inquired as to what part of Mississippi they were from. Joe said Biloxi.

Knowing that Biloxi had been ravaged also by hurricane Katrina, I asked if they sustained any damage. Joe said that they lost everything but what they had on and what was in the pickup. All of us drivers tried unsuccessfully to pay them for their drinks and the sandwiches. They would have nothing to do with it. Joe said that their son was living around Harrisonburg, Virginia and that they were going there. He was in the real estate business and that there was a home that became open, and that they were going to start all over there. Staring over at their age would not be easy.I will soon be 48 years old, and I have say that I have never eaten a tuna sandwich with side orders of reality and humility.

These people lost everything except the pictures,important documents, and some clothes. Joe had managed to get their antique heirloom grandfathers clock into the bed of the truck and Anna got her china and silverware, but that was all. These wonderful people lost practically everything they owned and still would not accept any money for their food and drinks. Joe said that "it was better to give than it is to receive. "They sought refuge behind a block wall that he had built years ago,and they watched their belongings and their home dissappear in the winds of Hurricane Katrina. Joe said that during all this he had one hand holding onto Anna and the other holding on to God. Their truck and themselves came out of Katrina unscathed. As I stated before, Anna was singing a song while making the sandwiches.

The song is titled "I know who holds tomorrow," an old gospel song. She knew every word, and was quite a gifted singer of it. Have you ever heard it? The chorus of this song is, " Many things, about tomorrow, I don't seem to understand. But I know who holds tomorrow, and I know who holds my hand. "There is no doubt, in my mind, who was holding both their hands. I know there have been many, many emails that have circulated over the years about things that will touch your heart, but this one I personally was involved in.

Forget all of the politics that the news is striving on, and think about people just like Joe and Anna. If you can, help out with the victims relief funds. If you cannot, at least offer a prayer for everyone.

Do what you wish with this email, forward it,delete it, whatever. I know that these two elderly people got to this old boy. I will always remember them. Joe and Anna, if by some strange way you, or someone you know gets this, and shows it to you, God Bless you! I know who holds tomorrow!!

Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the Lord rises to shine on you. – Isaiah 60:1

Church, it’s time to wake up. It’s time to get serious about seeking out the very heart of Jesus. It’s time to Arise and Shine through knowing Jesus’ heart.

Does not the body of Christ want to hear the heart of Jesus? Is it not such a miraculous and wonderful blessing to be able to hear the heart beat of God?

To truly know Jesus, the Almighty, and hear His voice, and live in fellowship with Him is God’s greatest desire for us. To be in relationship with Him.

Let us not be part of those who ‘profess Christ, but do not come’.

Through my heart for the body of Christ and the church, the Lord showed me the following.

All of a sudden I find myself standing in a crowd of millions of people. Millions upon millions of people. All of us have shirts on that say “Jesus” across the front.

As I look around I can see millions of fruit trees in the midst of all the people, these trees all shapes and sizes.

All of a sudden Jesus appears before the crowd, and He says to the crowd, “Come Follow Me”.

I step forward, along with very few others. I then follow Jesus with a group of others, maybe about 12.

As we are walking towards what seem to be huge white pearly gates, and I can hear the Spirit saying “So few will come. So few will come”. I heard such grief and such sadness in the Spirit.

As I turned around and looked at the millions of people they were all eating from all the fruit trees. As I looked closer the fruits had different words on the fruit. “Materialism”, “Money”, “Self Fulfillment”, “Pride”, “Lusts”, “Need for validation”. Jesus again stopped and looked at them and said “Come follow Me” but they turned their backs and focused on what they were eating from the trees.

My heart was so grieved I could hardly breathe, but continued to follow Jesus through the gates. We were led into a beautiful garden. Full of beautiful fruit trees. These trees were nothing like what was outside. They glowed with a light that I had never seen.

Jesus went up to the trees and took fruit off them, and put them on a platter and brought them to us. We all ate and enjoyed. Jesus then led us to a great banquet table, where He said to us “this is what I have prepared for you. Eat and be merry. Taste and see that I am good”. Sitting fellowshipping with Jesus Christ, was beyond what I can describe.

After this Jesus then took each of us one by one, and set us charge over a herd of sheep. Told us as we have been faithful, He has taken us further. We have counted the cost, so He is bringing increase.

The last scene of what I saw was Jesus’ face as He kept saying over and over “So very few will come. So very few will come”.

I am asking for your prayers.

I have been invited to the UK to minister with Musa Opiyo, Timothy Cook, Geoff Pick, Keith Ogden and Dave Howe.

I have been invited from November 29th - 27th December.

Trying to work out accomodation and a few other things.

I just got back from the travel agent.

I found a flight for $1966!!!! So I am believing God for this money for the airfare and then money for living expenses.

Only thing is, that time of year is extremely busy. EXTREMELY!!!!!!

That is the ONLY flight I can get on those dates through the travel agent I went too. Otherwise if I don't get this seat, I will have to either leave London earlier (like the 19 - 20th) or first week of Jan (which I don't think is an option with work).

The travel agent advised me that this ticket needs to be paid in FULL by October the 28th.

She said to me that she can hold the ticket for me, but I have to call her tomorrow with a credit card number or email her ( karen.stapleton@flightcentre.com.au ) and pay $100 to hold the ticket, and then continue to contact Karen my travel agent to pay off the ticket by October 28th.

Then I have to go in on October 28th and pay it all.

So would you believe with me? I am praying about whether to make the booking/deposit tomorrow in faith.

Firstly, many many many thanks for all your prayers, support and love from each of you. Your encouragement means so much.

Many of you have emailed me asking me the update on the UK, so I am sending it out all at once to all of you.

Praise our living God Jesus Christ, for the funds for my ticket have come in. So tomorrow my ticket will be paid. From two very amazing sources. Praise God \o/ I knew God wanted me to go, and this is just the manifestation of it.

So Praise God! \o/ Praise God \o/ Praise God \o/

So now that I have the airfare, I have to believe for the finances to live over there for a month. So I am looking at about $1200 US dollars for 5 weeks.

For food, travel expenses, and health insurance.

So if you could believe with me for this, that would mean a lot.

I am very excited about the UK. I am very excited about what the Lord is doing in the world today. He is really moving greatly. I am so encouraged to see His hand moving.

Ever feel like you don't belong?

Like you have this 'dream' for your life, what you believe God has truly shown you, but others around you just don't see it?

I know God is building me up and strengthening me, so that I can handle the responsibility of what is to come.

Opposition is getting so much worse, but I am standing in God's truth even fiercer than before. Amen!!!

I never ever want to glorify the enemy or attacks, but I have to ask for you to please increase the intercession for me if that's possible. The lies are being bombarded at me, one after the other after the other. I am literally speaking out the Word all the time now. It's only 11am here now, and I've been fighting all morning.

It makes me mad though, imagine the hide of satan to be hitting me over and over now telling me that this trip is going to fail, that it's not going to be huge and miraculous etc etc.

I stand tall in my armour and say "NO, you are WRONG satan, the Lord God JESUS CHRIST WILL be glorified in BIG ways"

I believe God has put this BIG dream in me, and I will continue to serve Him.

If you could please increase intercession for me, that would mean a lot.

Young lady, you are to make a decision concerning these so called friends of yours, who claim to be christians, but there life is not a witness to there confession. These are not the friends that God wants you to have. No...you are not being judgemental, because Father God does not want you to be amongst them.

Lanna if you want the anointing on you concerning your trip to the UK, seperate yourself from these people that are supposed to be christians and your friends. I do not apologise for what I am saying, because the Lord has given me the boldness to speak out on these matters. These so called friend's can sit and drink there glass of wine and say there is nothing wrong with it, but God in His word says in Proverbs 20v1 that,' Wine is a mocker, strong drink is a riotous brawler; and whoever errs or reels because of it is not wise.' See what Proverbs 23v29--31 says,' Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaining? Who has wounds without cause? Who has redness and dimness of eyes?[v29] Those who tarry long at the wine, those who go to seek and try mixed wine.[v30] Do not look at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the wineglass, when it goes down smoothely.[v31] At the last it bites like a serpent and stings like an adder.[v32]

Ephesians 5v18 says this, 'And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the Holy Spirit. [Amp---Bible]

Christians who drink there wine, open themselves up to demon attacks which will drag them even further into a false thinking that they are alright, but will eventually lose there eternal salvation. Satan plays for real, by making everything look so innocent, until he has the child of God bound in his web of deceit.

My dear sister listen to what the Lord is saying to you, about this, as it concerns keeping and protecting your anointing.

I am very saddened at the state of the church. I can't cope with the burden tonight. It's just ridiculous.

I know I am a sinner, I know that I fall so short from God's glory, I know that for sure.

Yet I have a friend who is dating someone that I know God doesn't want her with, even though he's a christian, I can just see it, then I went out tonight and I was with christians and some people were drinking wine, one after the other. Then going out to a nightclub afterwards.

I ended up coming home. I have been there. I've done the dating the wrong guy thing. I've done the drinking too much thing. I've done the nightclub thing, and it stinks, and God doesn't want us involved with it. None of it.

Why drink? Does it draw us closer to God? No! Why date the wrong guy? Does it draw us closer to God? No! Why go to nightclubs? Does it draw us closer to God? No!

I understand we 'live' in the world, but we are not 'of' the world. I am so burdened right now.

Please tell me if I'm being judgemental because I don't mean to be, but I'm in such pain. I was sitting at the table tonight with christians, and I just felt so sad.

Am I being judgemental? I don't know. If I am, Lord please forgive me and change my heart.

I couldn't help but feel this intense sadness. This is NOT the way God wants me, or anyone else, involved in these things.

Then I was telling people about the Uk. Do you think they cared? No! "Great news Lanna" and the subject changes.

You know what makes me sadder? When I tell people and the look on their faces of complete suprise that says "wow, I can't believe God did that for YOU".

I'd better stop here.

I'm going to spend time with God.

It's like I've been where these people are. I know the tempation and the alluring nature of these things, b ut it is NOT what God wants from us.

We must SEPERATE ourselves from all this junk.

Firstly, I want to thank each of you for your continued love and support.

Anyways, I just wanted to update each of you, on what is happening with the UK.

It looks like opportunities may be opening for me to minister in Ireland in Jan, so there may be an option of me staying longer in the UK to minister, so that's exciting. Just laying that down to Jesus, that He would have His will.

Numerous opportunities both public and personal the Lord has opened, radio interviews, preaching to ministering one on one.

I am very humbled by all this. That the Lord would entrust such a huge task to me. I am finding myself on my face before Jesus a lot lately, crying out for His mercy and strength, for without Him, I can no nothing. I continue to allow my heart cry to reach His throne, of "hide me Lord, let your name be glorified alone, not mine but yours".

So Praise Jesus, He is preparing me and teaching me a lot before I leave in 5 weeks time.

Also, expenses have surely increased for my trip. I just spent $600 on travel insurance, and now have many other expenses to pay for both before I leave and when I get to the UK. I stress this is NOT an email asking for money. Not at all. I am simply asking that you continue to pray for the Lord's provision, as I have nothing but the Lord's provision. It's easy to be stressed about this, but I continue to lay it down and trust in the Lord's provision. He is our Jehovah Jireh.

Each of you are coming on this journey with me. Your support and encouragement has meant more to me than I can ever imagine.

So together, as a body of Christ, let's embark on this journey.

When your good is evil spoken of, when your wishes are crossed, your advice disregarded, your opinions ridiculed, and you refuse to let anger rise in your heart, or even defend yourself, but take in all in patient, loving silence.

OTHERS MAY YOU CANNOT !

If God has called you to be really like Jesus, He will draw you into a life of crucifixion and humility, and put upon you such demands of obedience, that you will not be able to follow other people, or measure yourself by other Christians, and in many ways He will seem to let other people do things which He will not let you do.

Other Christians and ministers who seem very religious and useful, may push themselves, pull wires, and work schemes to carry out their plans, but you cannot do it, and if you attempt it, you will meet with such failure and rebuke from the Lord as to make you sorely penitent.

Others may boast of themselves, of their work, of their successes, of their writings, but the Holy Spirit will not allow you to do any such thing, and if you begin it, He will lead you into some deep mortification that will make you despise yourself and all your good works.

Others may be allowed to succeed in making money, or may have a legacy left to them, but it is likely God will keep you poor, because He wants you to have something far better than gold, namely, a helpless dependence upon Him, that He may have the privilege of supplying your needs day by day out of an unseen treasury.

The Lord may let others be honored and put forward, and keep you hidden in obscurity, because He wants to produce some choice, fragrant fruit for His coming glory, which can only be produced in the shade. He may let others be great, but keep you small. He may let others do a work for Him and get the credit for it, but He will make you work and toil on without knowing how much you are doing; and then to make your work still more precious, He may let others get credit for the work which you have done, and thus make your reward ten times greater when Jesus comes.

The Holy Spirit will put a strict watch over you, with a jealous love, and will rebuke you for little words and feelings or for wasting your time, which other Christians never feel distressed over. So make up your mind that God is an infinite Sovereign and has a right to do as He pleases with His own. He may not explain to you a thousand things which puzzle your reason in His dealings with you, but if you absolutely sell yourself to be his love slave, He will wrap you up in a jealous love, and bestow upon you many blessings which come only to those who are in the inner circle.

Settle it forever, then, that you are to deal directly with the Holy Spirit, and that He must have the right to tie your tongue, or chain your hand, or close your eyes, in ways that He does not seem to use with others. Now, when you are so possessed with the living God that you are, in your secret heart, pleased and delighted over this peculiar, personal, private, jealous guardianship and management of the Holy Spirit over your life, you will have found the vestibule of Heaven.

…To be honest, today my spirit is at great unrest to say the least. I saw the election of the new Pope, meaning I saw 'him' and as soon as I saw him, my spirit went nuts. Something really 'eerie' there, and I had the strongest sense....almost like "here we go.....it's about to begin". My goodness. It's almost a scary thought. God has showed me certain things lately, things I can share, and things I can't, and honestly in my human mind it's freaky. It is so so scary, but in Him, I have peace. I know no matter WHAT happens He will hold me and keep me safe. It is hard though, the more and more I 'see' little snippets of what is to 'come' the more and more I get upset and frustrated at the church and just want to shake the whole body of Christ up. Sad thing is, is that I think what is coming, is really going to bring a huge shaking.

Several years ago the Lord told me that I would "get in the face" of the Antichrist by telling him that he is defeated. Now that's some pretty radical stuff!!!

Well it even gets better. Because for some time I have known that God's choice of dates for incorporating FMHCCI (4/19/91) was very significant...but I just didn't know why. And then just a few minutes ago I revisited "The Roman Catholic Curse In The Passion Of The Christ!" (http://www.fmh-child.org/S4.25.04.html) and noticed our caption under the new pope's picture: "Pope Benedict XVI (The False Prophet - elected 4/19/05). It finally struck home! In fact combine that with our sermonet on the #19 - "You've Asked A Hard Thing Lord!" I know I am following God's path completely.

I do not feel to share anything about the anti-christ, nor join the ministry of the prophets.

I do not take lightly to someone accusing me as being a false prophet and walking in disobedience because I don't feel that it is time for me to put out a word on the anti-christ and do not join Bruce's ministry. I am very saddened by this whole situation.

Bruce - how do you suppose you are going to expoose me? Expose me as a false prophet?

The Lord will defend me.
