The following letter-form was brought about as a means of teaching my children the Word of God through the mail. And of course, quite naturally so, that’s the reason I begin these letters with "Dear Children" and end them with "Love Dad". So for the rest of you who participate in these weekly messages, please keep their original intended purpose in mind.
22 March, 1998
Dear Children,
Glory!!! I finally found someone outside my own belief who is willing to challenge what I say God says... and he’s even Catholic. In fact it was because of our short little conversation Friday that the above note has been added to the letterhead (in very small print might I add). You see my Catholic friend has agreed to not only continue reading this letter but also make constructive comments (criticism) as he goes along. So the permanent addition to the letter head was because of one of the things he said... but it was not the only one.
You see I know this is going to be hard for most of you to take, but the other thing that he said, in so many words, was that my writings came across to him as being just a bit arrogant (conceited, proud, not humble). And of course the only thing I can say to that is "who, me?" Now there ain’t no doubt about it that this one word "pride" is something I must fight constantly. But likewise, I also pray constantly that the Lord will help me get closer and closer to the point of being "pride free"... and then He can help me keep it that way. In fact there was one thing He (God the Father) corrected me on in last week’s message after I put the letters in the mail. He told me He didn’t like it when I said, "And for those of you who don’t have the Read’n Grow Picture Bible but would like to have one, then kindly fork over a donation of $15 and it will be yours." I guess it wasn’t suitable so let’s try it again. And for those of you who don’t have the Read’n Grow Picture Bible but would like to have one, then kindly mail in a donation of $15 and it will be yours.
OK, with all that having been said let’s get back to the meat of the issue. Last week we were talking on the subject of vampires and how this very evil practice has been taken into the church. Now I would like to apologize for my last week’s "not so very smooth" writing abilities, but I’ll try my best to make up for it today. You see this subject is pretty complex, and it’s going to take an added effort of arm waving and hand movements (sign language) to get the message across, but with the help and grace of God we will do it.
And as I was saying last week, this entire message series all started because of what some Catholic organization had to say about Chick Publication’s The Death Cookie. And likewise it was last week that I wanted to include a copy of this little tract (a very reduced copy at that), but God the Father told me "no". And it was only shortly after He said "no" that He went ahead and told me the reason why. You see He didn’t want to load the Catholic readers down too much at one time. And I didn’t have a hard time understanding that because the information on the vampires was some pretty heavy stuff to say the least. So last week I obeyed Him but this week we have the go ahead to include The Death Cookie cartoon tract. And I would also like to include a "Thank You" to Mr. Jack Chick who has been so kind to give us permission to reproduce his copyrighted material.
All right, so last week we read a little bit about a man named Bill (William) who got himself all messed up worshipping Satan... and he didn’t even really understand what he was doing... until he got to the point of being a full blown walking talking blood sucking vampire. Because, reading once again from the book Lucifer Dethroned A true story (written by William and Sharon Schnoebelen and published by Chick Publications), it was Bill who said, "How did I come to a place where I was willing to forsake all that was normal in humanity for a taste of what I believed would be immortality? I did not wake up one morning as a "vampire-in-training" As we have seen, it was a gradual process of seduction... I was told that the gospel of John was a secret document with incredible "Gnostic secrets" buried within it -- that John the Apostle still walked the earth today as a nearly 2,000-year-old vampire initiated into vampirism by Jesus Himself!"
Now there ain’t no doubt about it but the story that Bill was led to believe was one tall story to say the least... but he did believe it. And what he was led to believe was that Jesus Christ initiated (enrolled) His most dearly beloved apostle John (follower) into the organization of vampires through the initiation ceremony as found in chapter 6 of the book of John. Because Bill went on to say, "The Johannine apostolate... supposedly led its devotees ultimately to the sacramental consumption of human blood and organs to sustain life forever..."
You see everybody who’s in their right mind wants to be able to "live forever"; nobody should want to "die forever". And it’s these people who are involved in the worship service of Satan that can’t have the everlasting promise of life eternal because they don’t have their faith in (and a resulting life with) Jesus Christ. So in order for them to come up with their very own plan of salvation (and might I add one that won’t work) they have invented this "salvation process" called vampirism. And it was Bill the "ex" vampire who went on to tell us the rest of the story: "The very cornerstone of the Satanic cult’s existence and survival lay in the central ritual of Orthodoxy and Catholicism -- the Eucharist (Mass) or "Divine Liturgy."... doctrine of Transubstantiation (that the bread and wine is LITERALLY turned into the Body and Blood of Christ)..."
Now I realize that this is very hard for some of you to understand (or even want to understand for that matter) but please give it your best shot. The people involved in the worship of Satan have invented a make believe process of salvation, and all you have to do to get it is to become a vampire. And likewise, so that the daily requirements of drinkable blood can be on hand for these vampire converts, it is absolutely necessary that all want-to-be vampires first become a Catholic Priest . Because reading it once again from the mouth of Bill the "ex" vampire, "Jesus’ solution for His vampiric priesthood was supposedly the "magic" of Transubstantiation. It is Catholic and Orthodox doctrine that the entire body of Jesus is contained in the host or wafer. Similarly, the entire blood of Jesus -- the blood of a 33-year-old male adult, some nine pints -- is miraculously contained within the chalice of wine... Since all members of this Nosferatic priesthood must first be priests of the Catholic or Eastern Orthodox Rite, they all had the power to produce in their liturgies every day more than enough sacramental "blood" to slake their thirst. And it was real blood (at least so we believed)...Thus, in the sacramental wine-turned-blood, we had a ready made supply for our needs, without ever having to go out and attack people like the fabled vampires of the films."
So once again, don’t you think it somewhat a coincidence that one of the tools used in the study and practice of becoming a real life vampire is the Catholic’s doctrine of Transubstantiation (turning the communion bread and wine into the real life Body and Blood of Jesus Christ)? And don’t you think it strange that they both used the Scripture as found in the book of John for their source of inspiration and guidance to eat His flesh and drink His blood in order to have everlasting life.
And as you might remember me saying last week, what we have just discussed is as good a reason as any to take a closer look at what the Catholics believe in when it comes to salvation. And likewise that’s why we began our reading in John 6 verse 1: "After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias. And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased. And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples. And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh."
OK, so real quick let’s review these first verses one more time. Jesus was in the early years of His three year ministry when this Scripture actually took place. The people were starting to catch on to this carpenter’s son’s unusual nature, and the rumors were spreading like crazy. Not only was He doing great and mighty miracles but even the words that He spoke brought an undeniable peace for those who opened themselves up to His teachings. Jesus was the talk of the times and people were flocking in groves to see him.
But also as we discussed last week, it is also important to note that at the time of this story the celebration of the Passover Feast was just around the corner. And for those of you who understand the true meaning of the word feast, you know without a doubt that it means FOOD, FOOD, FOOD!!!... and lots of it!!! And as we read last week from Exodus 12, we saw that "in the beginning" this feast was initiated as a means of freeing God’s chosen people from their captors. Because in order for God to get Pharaoh to turn them loose He had to first get his attention. And it turned out that the only way to get his attention was through the process of a whole lotta people dying... and one of them just so happened to be his son (Pharaoh’s).
But in order for the death angel to kill only those who didn’t worship God Almighty, the Passover sacrifice was brought into existence. You see God made it mandatory (no ifs, ands, or buts). For all those wanting to escape the death angel they had to kill a perfect male lamb by draining it’s life giving blood from it’s body. And the blood of this perfect innocent lamb was then taken and painted around the door post of their house (top and sides). Then they would take this perfect little lamb, skin it, remove it’s digestive track (stomach and intestines), cook it over an open flame until done (head, feet, heart, liver, and kidneys), and then chow down. They were to eat it all or destroy the leftovers (burn them). And it’s also important to note that they were allowed to eat every internal organ that had anything to do with the blood (heart, liver, kidney), but they ate none of the parts that had anything to do with digesting food (stomach and intestines). It was only because of the pure sinless blood of the sacrifice, and not because of anything that the sacrifice had eaten, that the death angel (spiritual death) passed over them. So during this Passover Feast they ate as much of the perfect sinless lamb as they could hold (feast)... but they did not drink it’s blood.
And it was this celebration of the Passover that continued on through the years. But anyway, let’s continue on reading into verse 5: "When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand."
All right, so here we have a whole bunch of people chasing after Jesus, for days upon end, and none of them had anything to eat. Well, none of them except this one little boy. So what was Jesus going to do (WWJD)? He didn’t want them passing out from lack of food; they needed to be fed. They were physically hungry so Jesus did what was necessary to take care of their needs; He fed their stomachs: "And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten. Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world. When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone."
So Jesus took food that was probably enough for one or two people and fed thousands, and ended up with more left over than when he started. Pretty slick huh? Well the people that got fed thought so too, because it didn’t take long for them to figure out that if Jesus was their king they would never have to worry about going hungry. They wanted Him to be their Fast Food King and they wanted Him bad. So once again, because of the out-of- control crowd condition, Jesus headed for the hills. But these people didn’t give up easily because, "The day following... When the people... had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither? Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed."
Now Jesus was and still is very interested in us having food in our stomachs (saving lives from physical death),... but this was not His main reason for being. You see Jesus’ bottom line reason for becoming a man on this earth was so that He could be the perfect sinless Lamb of God, Who would give His perfectly sinless life’s blood on the cross of Calvary, so that all who would believe in Him might have their souls saved from the eternal destruction of Hell (saving lives from spiritual death). But, try as He might, He was having an extremely hard time disconnecting these people’s brains from their stomachs. He wanted them to use their brains to think about their spiritual needs instead of their physical needs, but it seems as though they had a one track mind for food!
But Jesus didn’t give up. Because as we continue on with the reading we find: "Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work? Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave bread from heaven to eat. Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I say unto you. That ye also have seen me, and believe not."
Now I really shouldn’t have to strain myself in order for you to understand this one. Jesus finally gets these folks to thinking about what He is saying, and that’s when they asked the question "What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?" And that’s when Jesus replies, "This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." And right about that time they say "What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee?" You see this whole entire conversation between them and Him was getting nowhere. They wanted to know what it takes to do the works of God, Jesus tells them to trust in Him, and they follow up by saying "prove that You are Who You say You are first". And guess what method they want Him to use to prove that He is Who He says He is? You guessed it; FOOD (BREAD)!!!
But Jesus didn’t give up; He tried one more time. And just to please them, since they wanted nothing more than to talk about food, He goes along with the flow, but, with a slight twist. You see Jesus follows right along with their conversation on the manna (bread from heaven) by saying, "For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world." Now that was the statement that caught their ear. That’s the one word they wanted to hear; bread (food)!!! And that’s when they followed up His statement with their next request, "Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread."
But the question remains: did they really understand what He was talking about? Well they said they wanted the bread but Jesus let them know what The Bread was all about when He said, "I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I say unto you. That ye also have seen me, and believe not."
Now do you really think that Jesus’ final statement really made them happy? I mean here they were, all pumped up about a food (The Bread) that was going to make them live forever, and then Jesus lowers the boom by telling them that He is The Bread. You see their brain was still connected to their stomachs (instead of their hearts) and that’s why: "The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I come down from heaven? Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. No man can come to me except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day... Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."
Are you starting to see the truth in this Scripture? You see it is absolutely necessary, when trying to understand the full message of what Jesus (The Word of God) is trying to tell us, that we look at the whole complete entire story. And it was this particular story that both the Satanist and the Catholics have distorted to fit their particular "beliefs". Because, Jesus, after having gone the extra mile in trying to make them understand the truth, is about ready to turn them off so that they don’t ever have to worry about hearing the truth anymore.
You see it’s a known fact that, if we want to be hard headed hard hearted people, God will help us get what we want. And that is why we read on to find:" The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whosoever eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him..."
And just as predicted these very harsh words not only took hold of the unbelieving Jews but also His very own close disciples. Because as we read on in verse 59, "These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that believeth not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believeth not, and who should betray him. And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him."
You see Jesus’ intended meaning of "Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you" was not what some took it to be. He said what He said for a reason and it wasn’t meant as instruction for anybody to drink His blood or eat His flesh. Because He then went on to explain it in a little more detail by saying "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life".
Got it? Well it’s the same as me telling you that if you truly love God you will constantly feed on the Word of God (the Holy Bible). So does that mean I’m telling you to take each page of the Bible, one bite at a time, until it’s all gone? No! The part about "feeding on the Word of God" relates only to our soul and spirit; not our stomachs. And that’s why Jesus was saying that His word’s "Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you" could only do them good if they (His words) touched their spirits.
You see even if Jesus could have given them "supernatural food", His flesh and His blood, it would not have contributed one iota (bit) to their eternal life. And the reason for this is that our bodies have already been corrupted and contaminated through the first original sin (Adam and Eve). They are destined to die no matter how many "good" things we put into them. We are all going to expire and leave our bodies behind, but our soul and spirit won’t even skip a beat; they are forever. Therefore, putting perfect things into the stomach, for the sole reason of getting the body to live forever, is absolutely useless and hopeless. It just won’t work!
But we ain’t through yet because next week we will continue on with our investigation of vampires in the church. [See Eat His Flesh And Drink His Blood!! (3/29/98) for part III of this series.] So until then, please get out your Bible and study it for yourself. Feed your soul and spirit on the Word of God, because it won’t be long, in the very near future, on that great judgment day in Heaven, it’s going to be our spiritual condition that determines whether we get everlasting peace and joy in Heaven or eternal suffering and pain in Hell. Believe me, trust in Him, and Keep the faith!!!
Love,
Dad (Bruce Hallman)
Update (4/26/05):
The trapezoidal coffin in which Pope John Paul II was buried had deeply occult, vampiric significance. In Satanism, the "Order of the Trapezoid" is a very ancient secret society order, worshipping the Egyptian god Set, who is Satan.
Pope’s Vampire Coffin
Former Satanist, Bill Schnoebelen, says this type of coffin is built to draw in and preserve evil, dark energy. While in Satanism, Bill had to build one of these trapezoidal coffins. The idea was to attract enough vampiric dark demonic energy, to draw sufficient quanties of energy, and to store that evil energy so that, at a right moment, the dead man can come out of the coffin, a demonic resurrection!
Schnoebelen stated that, while in the coven, he and fellow members used to speculate as to whether the Roman Catholic Church was practicing Vampirism, for they saw much of that system within Catholicism. The fact that Pope John Paul II was buried in a trapezoidal box just reinforces Bill's suspicions.
Dr. Cathy Burns also had the following to say about the Pope’s trapezoidal coffin:
"The trapezoid has long been regarded in by occultists as the most satanic of shapes, especially adapted to enhance demonic manifestation. Indeed, the middle order of the Satanic brotherhood is called 'The Order of the Trapezoid'. Anton LaVey, the founder of the Church of Satan, refers to an occult principle known as the 'Law of the Trapezoid'. His writings underscore the existence of a magical science of geometric angles and spaces which is very prevalent in the U.N. Meditation Room ... LaVey says architecture can enhave an evil, spiritual atmosphere.
'The bottom line of all this is that the consummate architectural form of the Satan-worshipper is the trapezoid; and he believes that this shape will create a spiritual 'cloud-chamber' of sorts across which he may track the hoofprints of the demons he wishes to invoke. It is believed to be the perfect atmosphere for the manifestation of the unholy and the cursed." [Dr. Cathy Burns, "Billy Graham And His Friends", p. 13-1; quoting former Satanist, Bill Schnoebelen, "White Sepulchers: The Hidden Language of the Mormon Temple", p. 46]
