Dear Children,

I’ve recently received letters from two separate individuals asking that I take their names off the mailing list. It seems as though the seven or eight page message each week is just a little bit too lengthy for them; but that’s OK. I don’t apologize for being long winded because once I get started it’s very hard to stop. You see the Holy Bible contains the knowledge that can keep each and every one of us from the agonizing torment of Hell, forever, but for most it won’t. And the reason that it won’t is because most of us just don’t care enough about it to take the time to study it, believe it, and then live it.

You see I love the Word of God because it’s changing me for the good; it’s slowly but surely bringing me into a closer relationship with God the Father. And because of that fact there is no doubt about it when it comes to the topic of long sermonets; they would be longer if the postage wasn’t so high (four sheets max. per $.32 stamp). And speaking of cost, that brings up another point which I will hopefully cover in two weeks. God has called me to do a job but He expects others to help. So prepare yourself because I’m getting ready to write one of those sermonets that does a lot of begging (send in the cash please). And while we are on the subject I would like to encourage the rest of you to please let me know if you don’t have the time to read what I write. I would appreciate it very much because I can then pass on something you are not using to someone who might just benefit from it.

And that brings us back to the messages on Christian Science. I believe that I could write a full years worth of sermonets (52 of em) on the false teachings (lies) of the Church of Christ, Scientist; but I won’t. You see there are other religions all around us that are just as bad. So in all fairness we need to expose as many as possible in as little time as possible because there ain’t too much of it left (time). And regardless of what you might believe in, the truth of the matter is that one of two very important events is going to happen to each and every one of us in the not too distant future. Each and every one of us is either going to die or witness the rapture (either be a part of it or watch as we get left behind). And regardless of which one of these events happens first, either one of them will be unbearably tough if we aren’t prepared.

So that’s what we’re going to get into today, but before we do let’s go back to the message of last week first. The point that I tried to make, the one that I did such a poor job of getting through to you, was concerning the so called ability of Christian Scientist to conduct healing through Mary Baker Eddy’s scientific discovery of the Comforter. They teach that her book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures gives the secret formula that will allow all to experience the same healing power as Jesus, but without first accepting the truth that He was and still is God. And I went on to explain that according to the Scriptures this just ain’t so. And I continued to explain that the phenomenon (appearance) of these miracles was only due to Satan removing the curses that he had previously put on.

You see since Satan is the one who puts on the pain, suffering, and death, then he is also the one who has the ability to take it off. And the example I used was the near death accident of Mrs. Mary Baker Patterson (Eddy) who started up this religion in the first place. You see any and all the bad in this world is because of Satan. He is the one in charge of every mean and nasty thing that happens in our lives. And likewise since he is the one who puts it on, such as Mrs. Patterson’s little accident that just about killed her, he can also take it off. And since it was this accident, along with her remarkable healing, that spurred on the religion we now call Christian Science, I see no reason why it wouldn’t have been to Satan’s advantage to make it all happen in the first place.

And it’s Finis Jennings Dake who says it so very well in his notes on the Bible: "Satan who causes sickness by demon oppression (Acts 10:38; Lk. 13:11-16), can take off what he puts on without opposing himself or casting himself out. When he can damn a soul by getting a person to deny the essentials of the Bible that will save the soul, then it is to his advantage to deceive by taking away the sickness. Many accept these false religions that promise healing and other benefits. Satan co-operates with these religions, which he himself has founded to deceive men. He heals people without their faith in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross. Such people naturally think that they are in the true religion. They reject Christ and see no need of getting saved from sin or following Christianity. They will be damned for doing so, Satan having won their souls. Demons can go out and come back into a person of their own accord (Mt. 12:43-45). Satan in the last days will thus deceive men by giving them power (Mt. 24:24; 2 Th. 2:8-12; Rev. 13:2; 16;13-16; 19:20)."

And all I have to add to that is AMEN Brother Dake!!! But not wanting to stay too long on this specific lie let’s go on to another. And this other one that I want to cover fits right in with the one on healing, because, quoting once again the Christian Science web page, "The healing and regeneration that comes from your study of Christian Science will convince you that something incredibly new and different has been introduced into world consciousness with the coming of this Science. The spiritual enlightenment that Christian Science brings to consciousness results in healing... When you take up the study of Christian Science, you should begin to experience healing immediately. Your own healing experiences will convince you that this Science is the second coming of the Christ."

Wow!!! Now don’t any of you kids (or grown ups for that matter) believe the silky smooth talk of that very old used car salesman named Mr. Slithering S. Serpent, because the used car he will sell you will take you straight to Hell. And by the way that middle initial means Slimy because he is also the low down dirty rotten devil of all demons who we know so well by the name of Satan. You see what the Christian Science religion is teaching is a very obvious lie (once again) and I’m a gonna prove it.

Turning to the book of I Thessalonians we will start our search and seizure mission by reading from chapter 4 verses 13-18. "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

This event that we have just read about is what is commonly known as the rapture, which is nothing more than the resurrection of the dead. You see the only one who has been resurrected so far has been Jesus. So this thing called the rapture hasn’t happened yet but when it does there will a bunch of extremely happy folks, and even more very unhappy ones. You see when the rapture happens all the bodies of those Christians who have died and been planted in the ground (buried) will be taken up to heaven, but with a brand new squeaky clean sinless body. And it’s only after the dead get raptured that those Christians who are still alive on this earth will get the same (shot up to Heaven with a brand new squeaky clean sinless body). Wow, what a trip that will be!!!

And of course there are always those skeptics who don’t believe what the Good Book says, so Paul goes on to explain it in a little more detail in I Corinthians 15:12-28: "Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not up. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable."

What a terrible thought! To even imagine that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was only a hoax inflicts much pain and suffering, because without Christ there is no hope. But I believe and Paul believed and that’s why he went on to say, "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death: For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all."

OK, so this whole miserable process that we all have to go through (living in a world full of sin) first started when the first man Adam committed the gross error of eating what he shouldn’t have eaten. And because he did what he did, Jesus had to (out of pure love) do what He did. And because of what Jesus did we all now have the opportunity of being with Jesus in a sinless body at His coming, which we call the rapture. But this "coming" that we have just read about is not the second coming. You see the second coming of Jesus is not an event that you would want to witness from the ground. Because if your feet are still planted on the soil of this planet when Jesus comes back the second time then that can only mean that you have just gone through (and survived) the ultimate nightmare of all times.

Because Paul goes on to say in II Thessalonians 2:1-12, "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what witholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work; only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whom coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

Regardless of what the Christian Scientist might say, the truth of the matter is that the second coming of Christ has not happened yet and it will not happen until after Satan’s very own imitation of Jesus Christ, the Antichrist, has come on the scene and shown everybody his terribly ugly face. And furthermore he ain’t a gonna show his terribly ugly face until all the Christians have been removed from this earth. Because it’s only through the presence of these sold out Bible believing followers of Jesus Christ (Christians) that Satan has not completely taken over the world yet. You see God wants everybody in every nation on the face of this earth to have had the opportunity to accept Him. But when that’s been completed (it’s not too far away) the rest of the story will be the nightmare I was talking about earlier. When the rapture comes, and after God’s chosen people have left this earth, the remaining who have chosen the ways of Satan (most unknowingly) will get what they wanted; in fact they will get all of him.

And this horrible event was shown to John in a vision and recorded in the book of Revelation. Now the entire story is too long to read but let’s pick it up in chapter 12, verses 1-17, "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon... And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days."

Now to say the least, this is one wild dream (vision) that John had. But it is believed that this man child being talked about is those Jewish people who didn’t believe Jesus Christ was Who He was until after the first rapture of those who did believe. You see the unbelieving Jews are a hard bunch to convince. They have all the facts in front of them, as to the undeniable truth of Jesus is God, but most just won’t believe it. But after they go through what they will go through in the very near future (the Tribulation period: Revelation 4-11) they will be a few (144,000) who will be more than ready to accept Jesus for Who He really is. And because of that, they too will be raptured.

And it’s at that point in time that all Hell breaks loose. Because as we read in verses 7-17, "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him...And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness,... And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

You see up until the time we have just read about Satan is allowed special privileges in Heaven. He is a little like the spoiled brat who gets what he wants, that is until Michael and his merry men (angels) whupped up on him. And that’s when Satan’s special privileges end... and that’s when Satan gets really really mad. And because of his uncontrollable temper that’s when he will decide to take it out on God’s chosen people; the nation of Israel (the woman). And because he will have gotten so very mean and nasty, by this time there will be even more of the Jewish people to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Glory!!!

But ain’t it a shame how far we (the Jewish unbelievers and some of us) will go before accepting the truth. You see the problems they will have suffered up to that point in time will have been small in comparison to the nightmare that’s still yet to come. Because this nightmare has a name, and His name is Antichrist, and we can find out all about him in chapter 13. Reading, "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?"

This is where Satan grows to his full potential on earth. Now even though the Scriptures describe him as a beast having seven heads, the Antichrist will be a man; although a very wicked man at that. The Antichrist will be a man with the spirit of Satan in full control of him. And since there will really be no one to oppose him, just the few who have finally accepted Jesus as Lord, his spoiled rotten nature will get completely out of hand. Because the Scriptures go on to say, "And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things of blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And He opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."

You can’t even imagine how bad this dude is going to be. There has never been anybody, not even Hitler, who could be as cold and cruel as this Antichrist is going to be. And even though he will be bad enough on his own, he will end up getting a helper (it’s called double trouble; the false prophet). Because picking it up with verse 11 we can read, "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwelleth therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had the power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

Talk about strange happenings; it gives me the willys (heevy geevies) just thinking about it! You see this is Satan at work, totally unrestrained with no one holding him back, and boy is he ever going to put on a show. Now you might think that all these super natural sightings we are seeing in our own time (statues crying, bleeding, or whatever they do) might be something wonderful, but they are only a very small present day demonstration of what he (Satan) will do in the future. And the one thing you must remember is that what we have just read will take place before the second coming of Christ.

But now for the event in history that this sermonet has been building up to. So listen up you Christian Scientist, because what you are about to read is the real second coming of Christ... and what a second coming it’s a gonna be. Reading from Revelation 19:11-21, "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of fierceness and wrath of almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

Glory!!! Shout Hallelujah!!! That gives me Holy Ghost goose bumps just thinking about it. This is the second coming of Christ and He’s not coming to be killed but to kill. This is that place in time where the wrath of God will serve justice on all the wrong doings by Satan and all of his followers, and what a field day this is going to be. Because we read on to find, "And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimestone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh."

Not a pretty sight for anyone with a queasy stomach, but all I have to say is that it won’t happen any too soon. You see this is going to be the celebration of all celebrations (for the saints of God anyway). The shouts of the fans at the Super Bowl will not even be comparable to the shouts of victory that will arise from this event. Because the final touchdown of this world as we know it will have been made when the heavenly buzzards (the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven) eat the flesh of all those in rebellion against God... and Satan’s demonic bunch gets tossed into the burning lake of fire.

There you have it! And once again we have disproved the lies of the Christian Science religion through the Word of God, the Holy Bible. So unless any of you have a specific question concerning Christian Science and it’s teachings we will move on into another area of discussion for next week.

Now for all of you who might be involved in this false religion of Satan (Christian Science) please consider the facts: Jesus Christ is God, Satan is a liar, and what you have been taught is not even close to being the truth. Make the change that will save your life and keep the faith!!!
