The following letter-form was brought about as a means of teaching my children the Word of God through the mail. And of course, quite naturally so, that’s the reason I begin these letters with "Dear Children" and end them with "Love Dad". So for the rest of you who participate in these weekly messages, please keep their original intended purpose in mind.

Dear Children,

What a sermonet this is going to be! I mean would you believe me (?) if I told you the title of this message is “Dead Liver-less Frogs And The Word-Faith Movement!” Well, believe it anyway because that’s the gospel truth!!!

You see the way this all came about was almost two and a-half years ago I ran across a very unusual news article on the Internet that just so happened to catch my attention. It was published on Thursday, April 28, 2005, and, for reason unbeknown to me, the Lord instructed me to save it for future use. In fact here is that very same article:

BERLIN - Why are toads puffing up and spontaneously exploding in northern Europe? It began in a posh German neighborhood and has spread across the border into Denmark. It's left onlookers baffled, but one German scientist studying the splattered amphibian remains now has a theory: Hungry crows may be pecking out their livers.
     "The crows are clever," said Frank Mutschmann, a Berlin veterinarian who collected and tested specimens at the Hamburg pond. "They learn quickly from watching other crows how to get the livers."
     So far, more than 1,000 toad corpses have been found at a pond in Hamburg and in Denmark. But the pond water in Hamburg has been tested, and its quality is no better or worse than elsewhere in the city. The remains have been checked for a virus or bacteria, but none has been found.
     Based on the wounds, Mutschmann said, it appears that a bird pecks into the toad with its beak between the amphibian's chest and abdominal cavity, and the toad puffs itself up as a natural defense mechanism.
     But, because the liver is missing and there's a hole in the toad's body, the blood vessels and lungs burst and the other organs ooze out, he said.
     As gruesome as it sounds, it isn't actually that unusual, he said.
     "It's not unique - it's in a city area, and that makes it spectacular," Mutschmann said. "Of course, it's something very dramatic."
     There have also been reports of exploded toads in a pond near Laasby in central Jutland in Denmark.
     Local environmental workers in Hamburg have described it as a scene out of a horror or science fiction movie, with the bloated frogs agonizing and twitching for several minutes, inflating like a balloon before suddenly bursting.
     "It's horrible," biologist Heidi Mayerhoefer was quoted as telling the Hamburger Morgenpost daily.
     "The toads burst, the entrails slide out. But the animal isn't immediately dead - they keep struggling for several minutes."
     Hamburg's Institute for Hygiene and the Environment regularly tests water quality in the city, and found no evidence that the toads were diseased. The institute even ruled out that the toads were suffering because of a fungus brought in from South America.
     Other theories have been that horses on a nearby track infected them with a virus, or even that the toads are taking the selfless way out - sacrificing themselves by suicide to save others from overpopulation.
     Could hungry crows be a reasonable answer?
     "We haven't seen that. It might be, it might not be," said institute spokeswoman Janne Kloepper. "It's speculation," until it's observed, she said.
     Local officials in Hamburg were advising residents to stay away from the pond dubbed by German tabloids, "the death pool."

So what do you think about that? Hundreds of exploding frogs in a pool of death? I mean can you even imagine such a grotesque scene as that one? Well truth is stranger than fiction, and the fact is that it really did happen as Dr. Mutschmann had suspected. In fact here’s a portion of the follow-up report that confirmed it:

Germany's great exploding toads mystery has been solved: They were gruesomely murdered by crows with a taste for foie gras. Health officials in Hamburg started to panic after some 1000 toads puffed up and exploded last month, their entrails splattering an area of up to a square metre. But now one of Germany's top experts on amphibians says he's cracked the case. Frank Mutschmann found all had identical circular incisions on their backs - and their livers were missing. "It was clearly the work of crows, which are clever enough to know the toad's skin is toxic and realise the liver is the only part worth eating," he said. "Only once the liver is gone does the toad realise it's been attacked. It puffs itself up as a natural defence mechanism. But since it doesn't have a diaphragm or ribs, without the liver there is nothing to hold the rest of its organs in. The lungs stretch out of all proportion and rip; the rest of the organs simply expel themselves."

Now would anyone care to guess the spiritual significance of these “liver-eating crows”? I mean, after all, the God-given title of this sermonet is “Dead Liver-less Frogs And The Word-Faith Movement!!!”

Well, let me help you out. Because you see now that I’ve painted a pretty graphic picture of the “dead liver-less frogs”, let me follow it up with a few facts on the “crows”:

Born in 1860, E. W. Kenyon is generally recognized as the founding father of the modern Word-Faith Movement. Beginning as a Methodist, he became quite ecumenical, associating with the Baptists. Some of his work even resulted in the founding of a few Primitive Baptist Churches. Late in life, Kenyon moved into Pentecostalism. At the same time, he combined elements of the metaphysical cults, such as Christian Science, New Thought theology, and Unity School of Christianity (D.R. McConnell, A Different Gospel, pp. 31-35).

So, based on that little bit of information, what do you think about “Word-Faith”? Well just in case you might have missed something along the way, these “metaphysical cults” that E. W Kenyon was messing around with are satanic to the core (hoodo-voodo)! They are definitely not Christian! And of course it only stands to reason that E. W Kenyon’s “strange brew” of religious beliefs had, and will have, a very bewitching affect on all those who truly believe in what he taught. Because what he taught can be traced back to the following profound words spoken by Satan to Eve through the serpent in the Garden of Eden: “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”

E. W Kenyon mixed “God’s Truth” with “Satan’s lies”, and he preached it, and then he died (1948). However, it was through the help of a man by the name of Kenneth Hagin that his damnable “religion” spread like a deadly plague throughout Christ’s Church. And the following will help us to understand the simplicity of his deception that continues on today, destining souls to the burning flames of Hell forever:

A straightforward and concise outline of Kenneth Hagin’s “Word-Faith gospel” can be found in his “name it and claim it” booklet entitled How to Write Your Own Ticket with God. In the opening chapter – “Jesus Appears to Me” – Hagin claims that he “was in the Spirit”, like the apostle John on the Isle of Patmos, when a white cloud enveloped him and he began to speak in tongues. “Then the Lord Jesus Himself appeared to me”, says Hagin. “He stood within three feet of me.” Then after what sounded like a casual conversation about such things as finances, ministry, and even current affairs, Jesus told Hagin to get a pencil and a piece of paper. He then instructed him to “Write down: 1,2,3,4.” Jesus then allegedly told Hagin “If anybody, anywhere, will take these four steps or put these four principles into operation, he will always receive whatever he wants from Me or from God the Father.” That includes whatever you want financially. The formula is simply: “Say it, Do it, Receive it, and Tell it.”

1. Say it. Positive or negative, what the individual says, that shall he receive.
2. Do it. According to your action, you receive or you are kept from receiving.
3. Receive it. Plug into the powerhouse of heaven. Faith is the plug.
4. Tell it so others may believe.

So that’s what “Word-Faith” is all about, and, of course, that’s the reason for it’s ever increasing popularity among the church folk of today. “Word-Faith-ers” believe they can get anything they want – health, wealth, success, and etc. – by just speaking “in faith” whatever they want. In fact what they’ve been taught is that a “mighty force of power” will emanate from them to accomplish their heart-felt desires whenever they speak “rhema” (their “word” of faith).

Now with that in mind, let’s go back to that profound statement spoken by Satan to Eve through the serpent in the Garden of Eden – “ye shall be as gods!” – and apply it to these “Word-Faith-ers”. Because what I’m about to show you is the “God” these “Christians” think they’re emulating through their Word-Faith “witchcraft”:

“In the beginning was the Word [Logos], and the Word [Logos] was with God, and the Word [Logos] was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made…Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word [rhema] of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (John 1:1-3; 14 and Hebrews 11:3 KJV)

So, do you get the picture? God Almighty is the “Triune God” – the “Three in One”. He’s “God the Father”, “God the Son”, and “God the Holy Spirit”. However, before “God the Son” became the Flesh and Blood “Jesus” on earth, He was “God the Word” in Heaven. And, of course, as the preceding Scripture points out, it was God the Word [Logos] who spoke the Word [rhema] that brought everything (the universe and beyond) into existence from absolutely nothing. God the Word [Logos] spoke the Word [rhema], and “whatever” He spoke came into being.

Now you tell me, “Doesn’t that sound like the “gods” of Word-Faith???”

WELL…for the benefit of all those “Word-Faith” folks who’re trying to play God, there is one very important thing that you must remember about the Word [Logos] speaking things into existence by His Word [rhema]; He [Logos] didn’t speak the Word [rhema] until the Father first gave Him what He was to speak…and it even held true when He became the Son [Logos] on earth:

“Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words [rhema], and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words [rhema], hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.” (John 12:44-50 KJV)

You see Jesus did not and could not speak “rhema” until first directed by the Father what to speak! And furthermore, the “rhema” that He spoke was not for the purpose of satisfying the desires of His Flesh or anybody’s flesh for that matter:

“And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word (rhema) that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:3-4 KJV)

I mean in the truest sense of the word, “rhema” is the “operative or all powerful word or command of God” that will bring about “everlasting Life” to the recipient *IF* obeyed:

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words [rhema] that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63 KJV)

You see “rhema” has nothing to do with pleasing the flesh, but everything to do with denying the flesh. In fact here’s a real good example of a “rhema” Word from the Lord to prove it:

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:24-26 KJV)

Understand? God’s “rhema” Word, to all those who truly believe in Jesus, will “actively overpower” (root-out and destroy) sin in the Believer’s sinful soul once the Believer has done what the Father has specifically (individually) commanded them to do. In fact when it comes down to this thing about picking up your cross and following Jesus, well, the results are 100% guaranteed…the flesh is going to die:

“And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.” (Galatians 5:24-26 KJV)

You see God’s “rhema” Word is specifically designed to crucify, not satisfy, the individual Believer’s “passions and cravings”. In other words, anything and everything connected with “self” – getting one’s own way – has got to die in order for the new birth to take place. In fact this is what Jesus called the “born again” experience:

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God…But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 3:3 and 1:12-13 KJV)

Now it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out that a real “rhema” Word from God ain’t what the “Word-Faith-ers” are looking to receive. They call the real thing a “Negative Confession!” They want something “positive”! And, of course, that’s exactly what they get in the “feel good messages” from their “positive confession” leaders, which is the reason for the Word-Faith Movement becoming the fastest growing segment of “professing” Christianity today. I mean the phenomenal growth in Word-Faith has everything to do with the basic human trait called “greed” – I want it and I want it now! In fact the Word-Faith-ers “want-it” so bad they’re even willing to give massive amounts of money to their extravagant-spending leaders in order to “get-it”. And you see it’s those “mega” donations that build the bigger and better Word-Faith ministries to present Satan’s lies to more and more people (step #4 of Hagin’s planned destruction of the Church – Tell it so others may believe).

I mean the Word-Faith Movement is a monster of unprecedented proportions, and it just keeps right on getting bigger every day…that is with a little help from Paul and Jan Crouch. Because you see this lovely couple now owns the largest so-called Christian-based television network in the world – Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). It was founded by the Crouches, has an estimated net worth of approximately $600 million dollars, and is mightily used of Satan to spread his Word-Faith “rot and perversion” to the entire world.

So there you have it – “The Word-Faith Movement” and a few of Satan’s hirelings. But let’s not stop there! I mean, after all, there’s a whole bunch more of these “crows” that we haven’t even named. In fact, here’s just a few more for the record: Kathryn Kuhlman, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Paul Yonggi Cho, Fred Price, Benny Hinn, T. D. Jakes, Bishop Eddie L. Long, Joyce Meyer, John Osteen, Joel Osteen, Rod Parsley, Oral Roberts, Richard Roberts, R. W. Now, before we get into the Biblical meanings behind the “dead liver-less frogs” and their “liver-eating counterparts”, what do you say I give you one more real good example of this horrible phenomena from real life? Because you see it was back in the beginning of 2002 that the Lord used me as a prophet to deliver His real “rhema” Word to the branch manager of the Bank Of America where I had my checking account. Her name was “Tami J”, and, without a doubt, she was a very charismatic Word-Faith-er. In fact she kept her office radio tuned-in and turned-up on the local Contemporary Christian Music “feel good station” as a means of letting her customers know that she was a Christian. I mean, I was very impressed with her boldness to say the least! Amen?

You see her “pretentious religious covering” looked real good, but then came the test – a “rhema” Word from God that would allow “Tami J” the opportunity to prove herself to be the Christian that she professed to be:

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God…Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” (Romans 12:2 and 2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV)

You see it’s all about THE TEST! And before I give you the details of “Tami J” and her test, let me first bring you up to date with my story. It was January of 2002, and a very difficult time of testing for me. At that particular time in my life I had already gone through approximately 31 months of “no job” and “no income” as a direct result of having lost my position as Engineering Manager with The Toro Company. I was gainfully employed until I spoke God’s Word to the CEO, Mr. Ken Melrose. I spoke it, and on the 25th of March 1999, I got fired! I lost my only means of survival (my job), but “El Shaddai” gave me His Word of encouragement: “Now you can learn to trust me for all your needs until I get you your job back at Toro.”

So with that stark bit of reality in mind, let’s get back to “Tami J” and her test…and let’s do it with a little help from an earlier sermonet. Because you see it was on 3/10/02 that we published “The Journey Of Fear!” which detailed the “test” that the Lord had given me to administer to “Tami J”. In fact here is a portion of what we had to say:

…From that time on until the 7th of January the Lord kept me pretty busy paying bills with rubber checks. I mean I knew there wasn’t enough money in the bank, but the Lord kept on telling me to write them anyway: "Trust Me - everything’s going to be all right." So I did as I was told even though I didn’t understand how He was going to pull it all off. I mean the only possible clue I had was in what He had me do that Monday morning at the bank; I played the part of "Elijah with the widow woman" (I Kings 17). You see the manager of my bank is a professing Spirit-filled Christian lady, and it was only several weeks prior to this great adventure that the Lord gave me instructions to apply for a loan.

Now my first reaction to what God had instructed me to do was that I had nothing to offer as collateral for a loan — I really didn’t want to do it!

However, as I was soon to discover, my very good excuse didn’t hold water because the Lord’s desired loan was to be given "in faith" by the bank manager herself. Talk about bold! I was instructed to first verify with her that she was a "born-again Spirit-led child of God", then show her a copy of God’s Prophetic Word (The Testing Season), read her Ephesians 4:22-24 and Romans 12:1-2, and then instruct her that she was to seek God on what He would have her do concerning a loan for me. Finally, after having told her that I would be back for her answer on Friday, I was to leave.

Well through the grace of God I was able to "fearfully" follow through on His "flesh killing" command. In fact just in case you’re interested, the following is what the Lord said to her through His Prophetic Word The Testing Season (given earlier at the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries): "Have I not commanded you, Be strong and of a good courage. Do not be afraid or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you. For this is the testing season. For the Lord your God will test His people, to see those that are His and those that are not. But my sheep hear my voice and know me. But do not be afraid, for I shall bring you from a test to a testimony. And you shall testify of the goodness and the greatness of God Almighty saith the Lord."

You see God Almighty was giving the bank manager an opportunity to get rid of some of her fearful flesh... if she would only seek Him and obey Him concerning this loan. Then it was on Wednesday, the 9th of January, that the Lord started giving me instructions for a trip to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I was to leave on the 13th, pick up a friend on my way down, and then just show-up at the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries in order to personally answer any questions concerning our sermonet "Jimmy Swaggart And The Accursed!" Now you’ll just have to believe me when I say that this was one trip to Baton Rouge that I was not in any hurry to take.

And then came my Friday morning appointment with the bank manager. Would you care to hear how she did on her test? Well the message I got from her secretary was that she was too busy to see me. So, as instructed by the Lord, I wrote her a short note and included one of my deposit slips along with it.

So there you have it – “Tami J’s” test! And would you care to guess how she did? Well, if you guessed “goose eggs” you were right. I mean talk about a great big fat “0”! “Tami J” blew it…big time! She just wasn’t willing to take up her cross and follow Jesus!

Now it wasn’t too very awful long after her test that I saw “Tami J” no more. In fact it was only a few months later (5/20/02) that I became “homeless for Jesus” and moved into the “Rescue Mission Of El Paso” for an extended eight (8) month stay…and that was only the beginning of my journey in learning to trust in Jesus.

But then came that fateful day (5/14/07) when we met once again. My five (5) years of testing had been pretty severe, and my memory of “Tami J” had long since faded, yet the Lord brought us together for her final exam.

You see the way it all happened was that God directed Brother Alan and me to take care of some banking business at a Bank of America, which just so happened to be a different branch office than the one in which I both met and tested “Tami J”. However, it was during our first attempt at conducting our business that we were told to come back after having first obtained a certain proof of identification. That was a God thing! Because you see it was on our return trip, just a few weeks later, that we were waited on by the bank manager herself – “Tami J” – and I didn’t even recognize her!

So, there we sat in the bank manager’s office when, all of the sudden, I noticed her miracle testimony posted on the front of her desk for all to see. The article had been taken from a Christian publication, and it detailed the “miracle of life” that God had given to her on 2/4/06 through a transplant. Because you see it was right about the time “Tami J’s” diseased liver was “giving up the ghost” that her sister-in-law donated a piece of hers. In fact it was 1489 days after “Tami J” said “NO to Jesus” by refusing my loan, that God in His mercy gave the loan of life to her…so that she could take her final exam.

Now, it was only hours after our banking adventure had ended that the Lord started bringing back memories – memories from my past with “A Journey Of Fear” and “Tami J”. I mean I had a very strong feeling that there was some kind of connection between the bank manager and me, and then the Lord showed me His Truth. In fact, before it was all said and done, we were back at the bank, with a highlighted copy of “A Journey Of Fear” in hand, waiting to see “Tami J”. Because you see God Almighty had confirmed this nice lady to be the one who failed her “test”, and He also confirmed that it was her disobedience that caused her liver to fail. And, of course, it was my delegated responsibility to tell her the Truth about her sin: a last ditch attempt at saving her everlasting life!

So…we waited in front of “Tami J’s” office, and we waited some more. And then came our break. She had finally finished taking care of her customer, but then, suddenly, another young lady busted into her office before we could make our move. How absurd! I mean “Tami J” saw us waiting to see her, but yet she gave this other lady preferential treatment. I even tried making eye contact with “Tami J”, by staring through her plate glass window, but all to no avail.

And then came the “proof positive”. Because you see what happened next was this other nice bank officer walked over and asked if he could help. What an opportunity – this was our chance! I first gave him the scoop about having something very important to give to the bank manager, and followed that up with the part about it would only take a few minutes of her valuable time. We then watched as he walked into her office and gave her the message. I mean we actually watched as “Tami J” rejected our request…and she didn’t even once acknowledge us by looking our way.

What a bust! What a disappointment! Things did not look good for “Tami J”!

Well, it was obvious that our mission had been aborted. The bank was closing so we made our exit and got in the truck. I kept asking myself what went wrong – what could we have done differently? As the sequence of events played through my mind I tried my best to put the blame on Brother Alan. He was the one who saw the young lady make her move into “Tami J’s” office. He was the one who could have stopped her! However, it was right about the time I spoke correction to Brother Alan that the Lord spoke correction back to me. In fact what He said was that “Tami J’s” final exam was over. What had just happened was nobody’s fault but “Tami J’s”. Her hard-hearted ways had prevented her from receiving God’s Truth for the very last time. It was over!!!

So, the question remains – “What has believing in Word-Faith got to do with ‘Tami J’ losing a liver?” – and the following Hand picked Scripture from the Lord will give us His answer:

“Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly (G2836), and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” (Philippians 3:17-21 KJV)

Now, I can say without the slightest bit of hesitation that according to the preceding Scripture we could really and truly subtitle this sermonet “Wake Up Word-Faith – Your Belly Ain’t The Cross Of Christ!” In fact here’s what Albert Barnes had to say about the Word-Faith Movement and their “god”:

     Whose end is destruction - That is, as they have no true religion, they must perish in the same manner as all sinners. A mere profession will not save them. Unless they are converted, and become the true friends of the cross, they cannot enter heaven.
     Whose God is their belly - Who worship their own appetites; or who live not to adore and honor God, but for self-indulgence and sensual gratifications; see Rom_16:18.
     And whose glory is in their shame - That is, they glory in things of which they ought to be ashamed. They indulge in modes of living which ought to cover them with confusion.
     Who mind earthly things - That is, whose hearts are set on earthly things, or who live to obtain them. Their attention is directed to honor, gain, or pleasure, and their chief anxiety is that they may secure these objects. This is mentioned as one of the characteristics of enmity to the cross of Christ; and if this be so, how many are there in the church now who are the real enemies of the cross! How many professing Christians are there who regard little else than worldly things! How many who live only to acquire wealth. to gain honor, or to enjoy the pleasures of the world! How many are there who have no interest in a prayer meeting, in a Sunday school, in religious conversation, and in the advancement of true religion on the earth! These are the real enemies of the cross. So did you get that? The Word-Faith-ers have no true relationship with Jesus Christ. They worship their own appetites: their belly is their religion! Their attention is directed at self-honor, self-gain, or self-pleasure. Their hearts are set on earthly things, and their lives are dedicated to obtaining them. And, because of it, they don’t have a “snowball’s chance in Hell” of getting into Heaven until they first die to “self” by picking up their cross and following Jesus.

And having said that, let’s go back to the Scripture – “whose God is their belly” – and dig a little deeper into the meaning of the “belly” that’s the “god” of the “Word-Faith Movement”:

Belly (G2836) [koy-lee'-ah] - From koilos (“hollow”); a cavity, that is, (specifically) the abdomen; by implication the matrix; figuratively the heart: - belly, womb. (Strong’s Hebrew And Greek Dictionary)

Abdomen, n. [L. perhaps abdo and omentum.] - The lower belly or that part of the body which lies between the thorax and the bottom of the pelvis. It is lined with a membrane called peritoneum, and contains the stomach, liver, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, bladder and guts. It is separated from the breast internally by the diaphragm, and externally, by the extremities of the ribs. On its outer surface it is divided into four regions - the epigastric, the umbilical, the hypogastric and lumbar. (Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)

Now it really shouldn’t come as any surprise that the “liver” is a part of the “belly” that the Word-Faith-ers have made their “god”. I mean, after all, the title of this message is “Dead Liver-less Frogs And The Word-Faith Movement!” But anyway, here are just a few of the facts on what the liver actually does for the human body:

Liver (blood flow) - The splenic vein, joins the inferior mesenteric vein, which then together join with the superior mesenteric vein to form the hepatic portal vein, bringing venous blood from the spleen, pancreas, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine, so that the liver can process the nutrients and byproducts of food digestion. The hepatic veins drain directly into the inferior vena cava. (Wikipedia)

So did you get that? The liver digests the “food” we eat! You might even say that the liver performs the final step in processing the food that supplies the human body with the nutrients needed for it to live. And of course the way in which these life-giving nutrients are delivered from the liver to the rest of the body is through the blood. The liver puts it into the blood stream, and the heart then pumps it throughout the body:

“For the life (H5315) of the flesh is in the blood…” (Leviticus 17:11 KJV)

Now, just in case you didn’t know it, the word “life” in the preceding Scripture was translated from the Hebrew word “nephesh” (H5315) which is more often than not translated as “soul”.

“For the soul (H5315) of the flesh is in the blood…”

You see even though the liver processes the food to produce the nutrients that give “life” to the flesh through the blood, there is another important function of the liver that deals directly with the “soul” of mankind. Because the difference between the two is that the “life” word most often deals with the living/breathing aspects of human existence, while the “soul” word involves thinking and reasoning and making moral choices. And having said that, the following is what the liver does for the “soul”:

Liver (H3516) [kabhedh] - derived from a root meaning “to be heavy,” being the heaviest of the viscera. As in the scholastic psychology of the Middle Ages, the liver played an important part in the science of Semitic peoples. It was the seat of feeling, and thus became synonymous with temper, disposition, character (compare Assyrian kabittu, “liver”, “temper,” “character,” and Arabic kabid, vulgar kibdi). Thus, Jeremiah expresses his profound grief with the words: “My liver is poured upon the earth, because of the destruction of the daughter of my people” (Lam_2:11). (International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)

The “soul” of mankind is an amazing thing! In fact it contains the three important elements (M-E-W) that determine who we are as humans – “mind, emotion, and will”. And you see it’s this “emotion” part of our “soul” that’s actually the “feeling” that originates in our “liver” (the seat of feeling).

EMO'TION, n. [L. emotio; emoveo, to move from.]
1. Literally, a moving of the mind or soul; hence, any agitation of mind or excitement of sensibility.
2. In a philosophical sense, an internal motion or agitation of the mind which passes away without desire; when desire follows, the motion or agitation is called a passion.
3. Passion is the sensible effect, the feeling to which the mind is subjected, when an object of importance suddenly and imperiously demands its attention. The state of absolute passiveness, in consequence of any sudden percussion of mind, is of short duration. The strong impression, or vivid sensation, immediately produces a reaction correspondent to its nature, either to appropriate and enjoy, or avoid and repel the exciting cause. This reaction is very properly distinguished by the term emotion. (Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)

So, the “liver” is a very important part of who we are, and who we are has everything to do with which God (god) we allow our “liver” to serve. I mean, after all, our liver-produced “emotions” are only our “willful reactions” to whatever “strong impressions or vivid sensations” we might receive from the world around us. In fact a real good example of a “liver” producing the wrong kind of “emotions” can be found in the book of Proverbs:

“My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words. For at the window of my house I looked through my casement, And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding…” (Proverbs 7:1-7 KJV)

Now what you have just read is only the beginning of the story of a father warning his son about the dangers that await him in the world of sin. In fact the example that he used has everything to do with “strange women” and their “alluring words” that entice young men to disobey God’s seventh commandment:

“Thou shalt not commit adultery.” (Exodus 20:14 KJV)

You see, as the story goes, there was once upon a time a young man who was “void of understanding”. In other words this young man did not “know and fear the Lord”…which most certainly included God’s seventh commandment. But anyway, without going into all the red-hot passionate details of verses 8-20, this young man just so happened to be at the wrong place at right time when he ran into this “strange woman” who desperately wanted to have a “love” affair. Her husband was out of town on business, and she was determined to take this young man home for a long night of sinful pleasure – SEX!

So picking the story backup in verse 21, this is what happened next:

“With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; Till a dart strike through his liver (H3516); as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life. Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.” (Proverbs 7:21-27 KJV)

So do you get the picture? The young man was enticed by a “strange woman” to commit a grievous sin against God Almighty – the sin of adultery! And it was because of the fact that this young man didn’t have a love for the Heavenly Father that his liver produced the “emotions” of his “willful reaction” to the strange woman’s “strong impressions and vivid sensations”. In other words, she pushed his button, and he responded by jumping in bed and performing the act of adultery. I mean the young man sinned! And, because of it, his liver gave up the ghost, and he dropped on into Hell.

So do you get the picture? The liver that sins against God must die!

And having said that, let’s get back to our discussion on the “dead liver-less frogs” and their “liver-eating counterparts” – The Crows:

“The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.” (Proverbs 30:17 KJV)

OK, that’s the Scripture, and now for the commentary:

The eye that mocketh at his father - This seems to be spoken against those who curse their father, and do not bless their mother, Pro_30:11.
The ravens of the valley - Those which frequent the places where dead carcasses and offal are most likely to be found. The raven, the crow, the rook, the daw, the carrion crow, and the Cornish chough, appear to be all of the same genus. Some of them live on pulse and insects; others, the raven in particular, live on carrion. (Adam Clarke’s Commentary On The Bible)

The ravens of the valley, shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it; it signifies, that such persons shall come to an untimely end, and an ignominious death; either be drowned in a river, when floating upon it, or cast upon the banks of it, the ravens that frequent such places, and are most cruel and voracious, should feed upon them: or they should be hanged on a tree, or be crucified (u), where birds of prey would light upon them; and particularly pick out their eyes and eat them, as being softest and sweetest to them; therefore first aim at them, and of which birds, and especially ravens, are very fond (w); and is a just retaliation for their scornful and disdainful looks at their parent. This may figuratively design the black devils of hell, the posse of them in the air, who are sometimes compared to the fowls thereof; to whom such unnatural and disobedient children shall become a prey; see Mat_13:4. Those that dishonour their parents shall be set up as monuments of God's vengeance; they shall be hanged in chains, as it were, for the birds of prey to pick out their eyes, those eyes with which they looked so scornfully on their good parents. The dead bodies of malefactors were not to hang all night, but before night the ravens would have picked out their eyes. If men do not punish undutiful children, God will, and will load those with the greatest infamy that conduct themselves haughtily towards their parents. Many who have come to an ignominious end have owned that the wicked courses that brought them to it began in a contempt of their parents' authority. (Matthew Henry’s Commentary On The Whole Bible)

So, what do you think about Proverbs 30:17? Would you have ever imagined that God would use “birds” to get revenge on those who don’t obey Him? Well He did it back then, and He still does it today! Because, you see, godly parents are an extension of God Almighty – children must respect them as though they are the Lord! And of course it’s the “eye” that the rebellious child uses to look upon his/her godly parents with contention that God sees fit to remove in a very grotesque sort of way. I mean God uses ravens and God uses crows, and He uses them to set the record straight with all those who don’t obey Him.

Do you get the picture? The liver that sins against God must die…and He even uses crows to carry out the execution!

And now that we have a pretty good understanding of the “liver” and the “crow” in our “liver-less frog” analogy, it’s time to take a look at the “frog”:

“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.” (Revelation 16:13 KJV)

Unclean spirits like frogs — the antitype to the plague of frogs sent on Egypt. The presence of the “unclean spirit” in the land (Palestine) is foretold, Zec_13:2, in connection with idolatrous prophets. Beginning with infidelity as to Jesus Christ’s coming in the flesh, men shall end in the grossest idolatry of the beast, the incarnation of all that is self-deifying and God-opposed in the world powers of all ages; having rejected Him that came in the Father’s name, they shall worship one that comes in his own, though really the devil’s representative; as frogs croak by night in marshes and quagmires, so these unclean spirits in the darkness of error teach lies amidst the mire of filthy lusts. They talk of liberty, but it is not Gospel liberty, but license for lust. (Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary)

Now why do you figure the Lord used the “frogs” in the book of Revelation to symbolically represent the spirit of Antichrist? Well the answer to that one is easy: He did it for the same reason that He used a “frog” in our “liver-less frog” analogy to depict the “Word-Faith” followers. I mean, after all, they claim to be of Christ while yet promoting the lies of the devil! In fact it’s step #4 of Kenneth Hagin’s magic formula to “health, wealth, and prosperity” – tell it so others may believe – that instructs the Word-Faith-ers to hype their “LUST gospel” to others. I mean if you really want to receive “whatever you want” through “Word-Faith” you must carry out the four (4) step plan to completion. And of course that’s why God sees these Word-Faith-ers as frogs: unclean spirits in the darkness of error teaching lies amidst the mire of filthy lusts.

So God calls them FROGS, and the reason will become abundantly obvious once we check out a few of the gross perversions these so-called “Christians” must “believe and teach” in order to receive their Word-Faith “health, wealth, and prosperity”:

“We have sung `Nearer the cross' and we have prayed that we might be `Nearer the cross' but the cross has no salvation in it. It is a place of failure and defeat.” (E.W. Kenyon - Advanced Bible Course)

“Do you think that the punishment of your sins was to die on a cross? If that were the case, the two thieves could have paid your price. No, the punishment was to go into hell itself and to serve time in hell separated from God...Satan and all the demons of hell thought that they held him bound, and they threw a net over Jesus and they dragged Him down to the very pit of hell itself to serve our sentence…He (Jesus) tasted spiritual death for every man. And his spirit and inner man went to hell in my place. Can’t you see that? Physical death wouldn’t remove your sins. He tasted death for every man. He’s talking about spiritual death.” (Kenneth Hagin - How Jesus Obtained His Name)

“Satan conquered Jesus on the Cross and took His spirit to the dark regions of hell. He [Jesus] allowed the devil to drag Him into the depths of hell...He allowed Himself to come under Satan's control...every demon in hell came down on Him to annihilate Him...They tortured Him beyond anything anybody had ever conceived. For three days He suffered everything there is to suffer.” (Kenneth Copeland - The Price of It All)

Now was that enough to make you want to throw up? It’s what you call the ultimate Word-Faith perversion of God’s Word from the satanic BIG THREE (Kenyon, Hagin, and Copeland). They say the cross of Christ was not sufficient, but yet the Holy Bible says something entirely different:

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened [made alive] by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.” (1 Peter 3:18-20 KJV)

You see once Jesus had completed the process of atoning for our sin on His cross, He said, “It is finished” before bowing his head and giving up the ghost. Jesus gave up His Life on His cross, but, immediately thereafter, He received Life through the Spirit. His three hours of separation from God had finally ended. Jesus was no longer “sin” because the sin that He had taken on in His Flesh was no more! Jesus utterly destroyed (annihilated) the sin of the world through His suffering on His cross, and then the Spirit of God gave Him the Life to “preach” (not suffer) in Hell.

And, of course, having said all that, it should be abundantly clear by now why God Almighty says the following about the Word-Faith-ers:

“For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.” (Philippians 3:18 KJV)

So, there you have it! The Truth about the Word-Faith Movement in a nutshell:
Liver-eating “crows” preaching a “cross-less gospel” to a bunch of lusting “frogs”!!!

Following is the news clip from Charisma News Service announcing the death of false teacher Kenneth Hagin. Notice that it propagates the old story of Hagin being healed of a "deformed heart" and blood disease, yet he died in a "cardiac intensive care unit" where he struggled for life from 9/14 to 9/23/2003. If he had been truly healed of heart problems, why did he die of them? Does God take back divine healing? The fact is these false healers who claim to have a special healing anointing and such an abundance of faith that they can heal multitudes always run to the emergency room of the local hospital the minute they get sick. People & Lifestyle - Rhema Founder Kenneth E. Hagin Sr. Dies

     Known as the "father of the modern faith movement," Kenneth E. Hagin Sr., founder of Broken Arrow, Okla.-based Rhema Bible Training Center, died at age 86.
     Hagin, who started an international charismatic ministry renowned for its message of faith and biblical prosperity, died last Friday morning, a spokesman said, the Associated Press reported. An exact cause of death was not immediately known. Hagin had been hospitalized in a cardiac intensive care unit since Sept. 14, when he collapsed at home.
     Hagin's ministries include Rhema Bible Training Centers in 14 nations and Rhema churches in more than 110 nations, including the 8,000-member Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow.
     His ministry began at 17 when he said God miraculously healed him of a deformed heart and incurable blood disease. "He wrote in his Bible, 'The Bible says it, I believe it and that settles it!'" said his son, the Rev. Kenneth Hagin Jr., pastor at Rhema Bible Church and executive vice president of Kenneth Hagin Ministries.
     "He preached what he lived," the younger Hagin said. "His great legacy of faith will live on in the countless lives that have been healed, touched and changed through his ministry."
     Hagin's ministry was part of a nationwide healing revival in the 1950s and '60s. He moved from Texas to the Tulsa area in 1966. He founded Rhema Bible Training Center in 1974, and it now has 23,000 alumni.
     Hagin is survived by his wife, Oretha, two children, Kenneth Hagin Jr. and Pat Harrison, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service is set for Wednesday at Rhema Bible Training Center.

Jesus took up His cross so that we might have the privilege of taking up ours. Don’t try to satisfy the desires of your flesh through the damnable religions such as Word-Faith. Take up your cross daily and keep on keeping the faith in Jesus!!!
