Dear Children,

Well let me go ahead and warn you in advance that today’s message is going to be a tough one! In fact if you don’t want to know the truth, or you’re not willing to accept the truth, then it’s probably best for you not to even continue on with the reading. I mean get real, if you aren’t going to believe it anyway, why take the chance of getting high blood pressure and a nervous stomach? Because what we are going to cover today is a continuation of the topic on President Bill Clinton and the United States of America.... but it’s going to get a whole lot deeper.

You see it was last Sunday night, after having just finished up on the President Clinton sermonet #2, that the Lord told me to write next week’s message on "the parable of the wheat and the tares". And it was only Monday night after having read this Scripture that I really didn’t see where the Lord was leading me with the message... so I asked Him to give me a few more details... and that’s exactly what He did. Because it was right about then and there that He told me to read the book of Ezekiel. So once again I obeyed. But it was Friday night, after having read only a small portion of the book of Ezekiel and not having seen what He wanted me to see, that I asked the Lord to tell me where in the book of Ezekiel to find His message. And in the blink of an eye He gave me the answer to my question; He told me chapter 13.

So the message for this week will be a combination of the Scriptures found in Matthew 13 and Ezekiel 13. What a coincidence! Here we have two different books of the Bible but one common chapter; chapter 13! And seeing how the number 13 usually represents gloom and doom what do you suppose the message is all about? Well seeing how we already know it’s going to be on President Clinton, and seeing how we have already answered the questions "should President Clinton remain in office?" in sermonet #1 and "why does God want President Clinton to remain in office?" in sermonet #2, then the most logical question to ask next is "why in the world did we get in this mess in the first place?"

And this is where God’s pieces of the puzzle for the message of this week all started to fit in place. Because it was somewhere around mid week, as I watched my regular nightly viewing of Pat Robertson’s The 700 Club, that a big part of the puzzle became painfully obvious. Now before I go any further please let me make it abundantly clear the Pat Robertson has been anointed by God to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. In fact the Lord has repeatedly instructed me to support The 700 Club with cash donations. But even though I do help Pat Robertson with his missions work (God told me to do it), that doesn’t mean I agree with him on everything that he says or does.

Now with all that having been said let’s flip back in time to the sermonet of the week for July 13, 1997, and read just a few lines from it: What a week!... I reached out to God in prayer and... I started my prayer chain by first calling on friends in South Carolina and North Carolina, then Pat Robertson’s "The 700 Club"... So... what, might you ask, did we pray for? We prayed that the mission we’ve been called to do (the FMH Children’s Club International), concerning the mighty Amway Corporation, will be done. We prayed that God would put the Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit) in President Dick DeVos’ heart, open his eyes to the truth, allow him to receive the message God is giving him, and strengthen and encourage him to do God’s will... If and when this happens, the Amway Corporation will then become pleasing in the sight of God.

So that was just a very small part of only one of the Amway Corporation sermonets in a series of many. You see God gave me a message from the Word of God to give to the Amway Corporation as a warning... and I did what the Lord asked me to do. But then it was only several months later (February 8, 1998), that I wrote a letter to Pat Robertson concerning two of his shows that kinda like grabbed my attention. And just to clue you in to the part that grabbed me, the letter went like this:

Dear Brother Robertson,

I am presently supporting your work with the 700 Club but I have a nagging question that I feel needs to be answered. Can you help me?

The first question that I have concerns your association with the Baptist Church. I feel the Baptist profession of faith is one of the strongest in the world of religious denominations, with the exception of the "once saved always saved" statement. Seeing how you are a man of much knowledge when it comes to the Word of God, my question to you is do you really believe it? And if your answer is no, then it would only seem logical that you let your television audience know it so that they won’t assume anything. In other words if you claim to be Baptist but don’t agree totally with their doctrines then why not say so. There are many people who look up to you for guidance.

And secondly, continuing on with the subject of your influence on the people of the world, I recently viewed your show as it aired a spot with Amway. You see it was about a year ago that I joined this same organization in hopes of making money to further our efforts with the FMH Children’s Club. But what I found was an organization that talked Jesus but didn’t live up to it with their business ethics. What I found was people talking "Jesus" one minute and "give your soul for the money" the next. Once again you are influencing the people of the world through your standing and they are trusting in you for guidance. Do you really think Amway is a good way to make money for a Christian? Have you investigated it fully?

So that was my letter to him and three months later I received his reply. And it was in his reply that I found the following: "Mr. Hallman, I have been a Southern Baptist all of my life... We don’t talk about different denominational beliefs because a person’s relationship with Jesus is what matters---not the particular denomination to which he may belong... Secondly, in regard to your question concerning Amway, Dick DeVos, President of Amway, was a guest on our program. However, we have not aired an Amway "spot." In fact, we do not air any commercials on The 700 Club... Amway is a splendid organization and almost all of the people in Amway are strong Christians, strong family people, and strong political conservatives... I just can’t say whether individual members of Amway put mammon ahead of God, or God ahead of mammon. I do know there are strong worship services at the Amway meetings and invitations to receive Jesus Christ as Savior. Beyond that, I am unable to comment..."

And it was only last week that Mr. Robertson’s verbal answer to one of his viewer’s questions put the "icing on the cake" for this week’s sermonet. You see he was asked to comment on what the Bible has to say about these present day apparitions (miracles and wonders) of Mary. I mean what more could you ask for? Here was Pat Robertson’s perfect opportunity to boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and help out a few very deceived, lost, and dying Catholics. Here was his chance of a lifetime to expose the demonic facts concerning the Pope’s attempt to make Mary (the earthly mother of Jesus) a part of the Divine Godhead (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, and God the Mother?).

He had the chance of a lifetime to unload the truth... but he didn’t... and he didn’t because he feared that it would make his supporters upset. So he traded off what could have been a very bold earth shaking statement for the Catholic Church, in favor of a very weak and spineless statement of "search the Scriptures for yourself". I mean get real! There’s no doubting the fact that Pat Robertson knows in his heart that Mary worship is nothing but Satan’s very own deceptions from Hell. So how in the world can someone who so often calls attention to President Clinton’s sins back away from exposing the sins of the church?

And just in case you haven’t figured it out yet, that my friends is the direction we are headed in for the next two weeks. Because based on the fact that we are already on page 3, I can pretty well guarantee you that the remaining five pages will virtually fly by... before I can even start to say all that needs to be said.

Now remember my warning about the high blood pressure and nervous stomach... and also please keep it in mind, as we continue to dig deeper into the subject matter of this week, that President Bill Clinton is a "born again" Baptist.

OK, now for the meat of the message. Reading from Matthew chapter 13, and starting with verse 1, "The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side. And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixty fold, some thirty fold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."

So as we open up the Scripture of the week we see Jesus doing one of the most important things that He came to earth to do. Because as He sat on that boat, speaking to the many people who had come from miles around to hear him speak, He planted the seeds of the Word of God through the first of His many recorded parables. And of course, as we have just seen, a parable is nothing but a very simple real life type of story... but it gives a very powerful truth. And the truth of this "truth" is that it doesn’t come very easily. You see a parable is a story that can have a bunch of different meanings. In fact you might even say it’s like coming to one of them five point intersections in an unfamiliar highway and trying to figure out real quick (before you get run over) which way to go.

And that’s about the way the disciples felt about Jesus’ parables. Because as we read on we find, "And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand."

Do you kinda get the feeling that Jesus was talking double talk? I mean exactly what was He trying to say? Well the one thing that He did say that was abundantly clear was that they (the disciples; followers of Christ) would understand what these parables were all about while the others (them: anyone other than the followers of Christ) would not. So how in the world could something like this happen? I mean after all the entire "multitude of people" were sitting right there in front of the boat listening to what Jesus had to say? And according to Jesus (even though it’s not very easy to understand) they would see but yet they wouldn’t see, they would hear but they wouldn’t hear, and because of their not seeing or hearing they definitely wouldn’t understand what He had to say (the parable).

But Jesus didn’t stop there. He went right on into a full blown detailed view of the subject at hand. Because reading on we find that Jesus continues on with His discussion of "them": "And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esasias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them."

Now notice that what Jesus has just said is that the reason He speaks in parables is so that the others (them) won’t understand what He is talking about. He said that they are hard hearted people and if they were able to understand the truth of the parable they would likewise certainly see the light, turn to God, and receive their healing. So what’s so bad about that? I mean after all isn’t that what salvation is all about in the first place? Well as you will see in the next bit of Scripture the disciples didn’t understand the parable either, because Jesus went right on into very much detail in order to explain it.

And picking it up in verse 18: "Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."

So what’s the difference between the "them" and the disciples. From all indications neither one of them understood the parable but yet Jesus told the disciples what it meant. It just doesn’t seem fair... but it is fair... because that’s the only way Jesus can be. You see the reason Jesus didn’t want "them" to understand the truth of the parable was because the salvation that they would receive would only be a short term salvation; it just wouldn’t last. And why might you ask wouldn’t it last. Well for the same reason that Jesus had just explained it: their hearts were hard and the seed of God (the Word of God) would not be able to take root and grow.

You see what Jesus was trying to do through His speaking of the parables was to prevent what you might want to call "make believe Christians" from ever coming into existence. Because in His very next parable He goes on to say, "Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn."

Boy is this a deep subject! My forehead is definitely getting all wrinkled up again. You see these parables can either put your mind in gear or completely strip it of it’s gears altogether... and that’s the point that Jesus was trying to make; how sincere are you in becoming a child of God, a follower of Jesus? Because the truth of this parable is that there are not only the good seeds (wheat) being sown in this life but also the bad ones too (tares). And the one very important thing that I have learned through the study of this parable is that it’s very hard to tell the difference between the two (wheat and tares). In fact you really can’t tell the difference until the plants have fully grown and produced their very own fruit. And that’s where the difference becomes very obvious. Because you see the fruit (seed) of the wheat will bring life more abundantly while the fruit (seed) of the tares will only bring death everlasting. So who wants to be the first one to do the taste test?

But let’s not stay on that parable too long because very shortly Jesus is going to explain it in much more detail... and besides that, He wants us to first understand the direction He’s headed in with these parables. Because that’s exactly why He goes right on into yet another one: "Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof."

Now it’s right about here that the Scriptures take a turn for the worse. You see in the previous parable Jesus introduced some "bad" seeds into His parables. And even though this parable of the mustard seed has most often been interpreted as the growth of the Christ’s Church (from the very first few disciples into the Kingdom of Heaven, which someday soon it will become) it really ain’t. In reality it is the church but not The Church. So what’s the difference? Well you see what Jesus was doing in the beginning of this message (Matthew 13:1) was putting together His Church. He was planting the seed of the Word of God in their hearts so that they might become a full blown child of God. And this was where the point about the parables came into play. Because there were some ("them") who He wasn’t too crazy about receiving His seed (the Word of God). And of course the reason for His actions was because he didn’t want these "short term followers" to be in His Church when they decided to bail out. Because even though they might bail out spiritually they wouldn’t bail out physically. Understand?

Well you see this mustard seed (that grew into a big tall tree with lots and lots of branches) has a few birds roosting in it. And even though we would like to think of these birds as the gentle loving kind (doves for example), I’m here to tell you that they ain’t. Because you see these birds of the air just so happen to be buzzards!!! And of course as we all know buzzards like nothing more than dead rotting flesh. So here we have a very clear picture of the mustard seed growing from it’s first 120 original members (The Church) as found in Acts 1:15 to it’s present day size of about 2,000,000,000 (the church). And that’s where our present day problem begins.

But not wanting to get ahead of the story, let’s continue on with the very next parable just as Jesus has laid it out. Because it’s in this one that we read: "Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened."

Now please keep it in mind that "The Church" has very rapidly became "the church"... and the buzzards are starting to roost in it’s branches... just waiting for the rotting flesh... which will result from the poison seeds of the tares. So how many of those in "the church" do you think will be available for the buzzards to eat? Well that’s what this parable of the leaven is all about. You see I have a very funny feeling that this message is gonna go a whole lot longer than I expected. In fact I believe that this message is gonna eventually end up in the book of Revelation with the Antichrist sitting in the pulpit of "the church". Because you see this "leaven" being spoken about in this parable is never spoken of in the Scriptures as anything that’s good for the kingdom of God. And to top it all off, this woman who’s adding the leaven to the three measures of meal is the ultimate in evil and wickedness herself.

So what we have "going down" in this parable is nothing more than a clear cut undistorted view of the things going on in "the church" world of today. The seed that was used to produce the three measures of meal was produced from the wheat seeds (the Word of God), and of course it was a perfect spiritual food in it’s original form. But then comes along this evil wicked woman (religion) who adds the leaven (false doctrine) that turns the good stuff into one great big stinking, rotting mess. You see leaven is nothing more than yeast, and all you have to do is add water in order for it to become a very rapidly developing process of rot and decay (the process of death). And of course it’s because of all the crazy beliefs within the "Christian religion" of today (leaven) that the once very wholesome food (Word of God) has become nothing more than this very rapidly decaying mass of death.

And just as predicted we are running out of paper. But anyway, at least we’ll be able to finish off with the 13th chapter of Matthew. Because reading on into verse 34 we find the Scripture returning back to Jesus and the multitudes: "All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world."

So do you think these secrets that Jesus laid out in the parable was understood by the disciples. Nope! They didn’t understand it but they did want to know the secret... and they did know who to ask. And that’s what they did: "Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear."

Now the part about "his kingdom" is nothing more than "the church" of today. And just as the parable exposes, there are quite a few tares (children of Satan) within the church structure. And even though all of that is bad enough, the most shocking part about this whole parable is that God is going to leave things just the way they are until the end of this present age. So how many people do you figure are assuming themselves to be the wheat (The Church) but in reality they are only the tares (the church)? How many "Christians" are eating the rot infested meal of their so called religious denominations?

It’s not a pretty picture... it’s not a pretty sight... because the truth of the matter is... that a whole bunch of so called "Christians" are going to burn. Hell is real and so much of the church world is headed straight for it... and we must get out the truth before it is too late.

Well we never did made it back to the President and the United States of America, but this is as good a place as ever to wrap it up until next week. So after having read this message please don’t get upset with this truth. Instead, why not try reading the Scriptures for yourself while asking the Holy Spirit (Jesus) to help you understand their meaning.

Live your life today like there is no tomorrow... because there is so much more to be discovered through the mysteries of the Word of God... and it is absolutely necessary that we discover them. So continue on daily to study and pray and keep the faith!!!

As you can see this message is one week late (the copier broke down after only 100 pages)... but what a better opportunity to pray over what the Lord has given me to write. And after having prayed over this message for one full week, the only change God has given me to make is this: Please pray for Brother Robertson because the Word of God as found in Ezekiel 3:18 still holds true for today; "When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand."
