Evander Holyfield – Pass It On?
Instead of allowing the Lord to direct his steps to live and ministry and the preaching the Cross of Jesus Christ, Evander Holyfield is helping these “masters” to cause people to “feed their flesh” by inspiring greed in them. In Matthew 15, Jesus said “If the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch [eternal pit of hell]”!
Mark Hansen (“Chicken Soup For The Soul”) is one who is promoting “Pass It On” and is quoted as saying that “the great livers…are the great givers”. The Secret’s creator put forth this ploy to try to disguise the selfish and flesh-gratifying ideas from appearing to be just that. We see this same “give to get” lie in the Faith Movement’s gospel of greed (it’s actually closer to the “get all you can and can all you get” self-promoting way of living): Multiply your money by giving (especially by giving it to them).
The witchy New Agers who have promoted The Secret and their other get-rich-quick schemes proclaim a “universal law of attraction” that brings the things you want: This is a form of WITCHCRAFT (control and manipulation). Just giving to get is a wrong motive for giving. Giving to God is to be done with gratitude and love, as God gave His only Son to this sinful world, not expecting anything in return.
These so-called “great minds” of The Secret, Pay It Forward, and now Pass It On have BEWITCHED people! Evander Holyfield, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel” (Galatians 1:6). You should know better!
“…Men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth…Godliness with contentment is great gain…Having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil...” - 1 Timothy 6:5, 6, 8-10 (KJV)
“For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision…teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.” - Titus 1:10-11(KJV)
This is not preaching and obeying the gospel of God, but is a Satanic (lustful/self-seeking) type of success sought by these men of worldly success, who have used their God-given gifts to heap up wealth for themselves and seek to pollute others with this deadly thirst for “mammon”.
“…Who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? …“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” - Galatians 3:1; 2 Timothy 4:3-4 (KJV)
Holyfield, wake up! Life is more than getting another paycheck from shysters like these!
