Sin And Regeneration

     The following is an excerpt from a letter that I wrote to a friend on the 10th Anniversary of the LORD's call on my life to the prophetic office (5/12/05), in which I wrote on the subject that I began to call "Sin And Sanctification". I wrote as the Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance what He has been giving the FMHCCI (Children's Club) Ministry on the subject. May the Body of Christ hearken unto (live through by obeying) the words of the Master: "Greater love hath no man than this, than to lay down his life for his friends" - JOH 15:13

     "Ye are [M]y friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you" - JOH 15:14 (KJV). This truth is woven throughout the "sermonets" on the Children’s Club International website, and is referred to as "The Human Body And Sin", and "How Do You Want Your Fire...Now Or Later?" This process of processing the word that God speaks to us and "metabolizing" it results in "sinful flesh" becoming Christ in us. It is referred to in the Bible as "sanctification". One of the verses that reveals the "two-edged sword" is JAS 5:19-20, where a Brother ("sinner" - the person the LORD has us to address - is "converted from the error of his way..." (vs. 19). And also the believer - who delivers the word - "shall hide a multitude of sins", killing off "sinful flesh", and restoration the righteous paths within us. This process is referred to in the scripture that was used as the theme of a message by Rod Parsley, that you sent me a copy of, years ago, entitled, "Repairers Of The Breach": "And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places [sinful pathways]: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in" - ISA 58:12-13 Another example is found three chapters later, the message is repeated: "And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities [become "trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD"] - ISA 61:4; ISA 61:3, and as we receive His word as Spirit, and it becomes "manifested truth" in us as we walk in it - obey it ["walk in the Spirit" - GAL 5:16], the "desolations of many generations" [sins of generations past] we will be changed into righteous pathways - transforming us through our Holy Spirit walk into "Repairers of the Breach": The "trees of righteousness", to deliver others to salvation.

     The scriptures the LORD gave me for the back of my (Brother Alan's) ministry card also point to our walk of obedience: 1) We "WALK by [work out our salvation] by faith..." - 2 CO 5:7 2) We LIVE by processing God's word within us, as we hear it and obey it - MAT 4:4) and 3) We "KNOW Him..." and His "resurrection [salvation] power" through our "sufferings" - PHI 3:10 (see the sermonet, "You've Asked A Hard Thing, LORD!" - the "#19"). The following is from a book entitled "He Came To Set The Captives Free", By Rebecca Brown, M.D. -

     "You can have salvation but only on one condition; that you are totally sold [out] to Christ, you don't have any personal rights, you no longer belong to yourself ["self"], you no longer have any right to anything [but to hear Him, obey Him, and minister for Him]. You will become a servant. You are in essence signing your own death warrant because Satan will hate you and try to kill you. You are gaining eternal life and citizenship in heaven. You give up your life here on earth to gain life in heaven..."
